Thank you for this I’m a month and a half into this journey and I feel wonderful. I’m down 33 pounds and just keep dropping weekly. If gotten mixed signals from friends and family some like it some don’t. Me personally I’ve been working out for years and just couldn’t seem to drop the fat I’ve gained including doing 300 pushups a day. Since I’ve started this meditation I’ve continued with my workout routine and have noticed I haven’t really lost any strength but the cardio part has gotten significantly easier. I’m going to keep plugging along and love the journey . Thanks again.

I'm not a Man (clearly), but this was a really good video...it gives good insight into the male perspective on weight loss - and perhaps the misconceptions of men and their journeys. Bravo Christopher 👏🏽

How do you feel about strength training, Christopher? Most of the GLP-1 doctors who support its use say we should all be strength training/resistance at least 3 times per week, to help build muscle and strengthen as we age. It also burns fat and revs the metabolism too. Dr. Tyna Moore recommends this as a non-negotiable along with what you say, prioritizing protein. I've actually enjoyed this change.

CD: strength training is a great idea and could have certainly been number 11. It is very widely talked about.

definitely works for me

You can recommend strength strength training all you want like Arnold but you need a sensible approach for your ability, limitations.

@@michaelclanton1152CD: I could not agree more. We have talked to so many people who are at different places with weight and health. It has to be customized to their situations which is why I don’t make the blanket recommendation you should do (x) exercise (x) times a week. I also worry that the over emphasis on lifting weights may deter people from the actual medical treatment of obesity. Sometimes we just need to work with our doctor to take the shots and build a plan for better health. One day at a time. That plan can and will evolve as we see success and feel healthier

you should give it a try, results in NSV’s.

Appreciate you doing this! Most of the informational and inspirational content I watch is created by women, and sometimes a guy just needs to hear a guy tell his story and give advice (even if its the exact same advice lol).

Christopher, real talk…. I can’t say I seek out straight, white, middle class American men to listen to. However, I appreciate your authenticity, perspective and intellect. Thanks for being a pleasant surprise! Namaste
