Have you ever considered putting a mulch kit on one of your machines. With leaves that dry, you can mulch them up all day long and it will have the same result as you got there. Plus then no having to dump or mess with the bagger.

I have the same catcher. Easy fix to stop some of the dust. Put Black Gorilla tape on top and driver's side holes.. Holes on opposite side are enough for air/grass exchange. I have accelerator bagger also. Love it but did similar thing to that. For accelerator bagger I made floating dust cover for the top so the dusty air exhaust comes out the back of the top of the bag about even with me while standing on the Ferris Z3x. Works amazing and cost about 5$ to make. Also have a solution to your tarp issue. 2" PVC pipe, End Cap and a T-Connecter. On your Top board drill a hole just bigger than the OD of the PVC 2" from the front edge and top of board. Do that on both sides. PVC is going to be the front roller for your tarp to fasten to and of course with gorilla tape. Glue on End Cap to PVC and then route PVC thru both holes pushing end cap tight to the outside of top board. Now on other side measure and cut PVC to length so PVC pipe is sticking out of the top rail by 2" inches. Put T-Connecter on that side and fasten with 2 small screws. Don't glue so if needed you can disassemble. Now you should have roughly a 4' piece of PVC left over from the 10' piece. Cut roughly a 18" piece of the left over piece of PVC and use that to insert in the T-CONNECTER as a handle to wind up your tarp. I didn't glue my handle in bc I didn't want a big piece of PVC hanging out the side. I just have it in the truck with me. To make it look nice spray paint end cap & T-CONNECTER black prior to putting together. I actually ordered a 6' x 14' PVC Mesh Tarp for Dump Trucks double pocket for 52$ from myteeproducts.com and it works great.. Good luck

I think having to go through the struggle of starting a business and doing things the difficult way before you have the money to improve your system is actually a good thing because it makes you respect and appreciate what you’ve got even more I just bought my little Dump her bed and it’s a game changer for me but I still appreciate where I’ve come from.

Leaves are still hard for me to estimate. Sometimes I’m right on , some times I take it in the shorts. Others times I make sick money. Hopefully I’ll get dialed in soon.

Awesome set up man. I am still in the leaf bagging phase of business. I have a driveway half full of plastic lawn bags full of leaves. Dump costs $65 a load. So I let it pile up to get my money's worth. Really appreciate your vlogs man. You tell it like it is. Blessings from Louisville, KY from Trinity Lawn Care, LLC. Peace. Keep up the great work and enjoy those little ones.

I personally don’t like the aluminum catchers. The molded plastic ones are my favorite. I have found that covering the top of the catcher with fabric or even a towel. Just poke some holes in the fabric and zip tie it to your catcher.

Buyers makes the rolling tarp kits. Do yourself a favor and get a few green barrels. Much easier than constantly dumping catcher in truck

What do you mean? Like trash can in the bed and then just dump the cans?
@LorenzoSerchia964 жыл бұрын
@@bblawncarekc google “green landscape barrel” they are very popular in the north east. we keep 3 on the truck so we can dump right into the barrels instead of going back to truck every time the catcher is full. They are wide enough for grass gobbler/accelerator.

Blake, I'm impressed, you only used the word, "like" three times. Getting better in your speech. Keep up the good work. Your wife being brought up tends to dumb you down. "Dude" and "Like" being used constantly show dumbness. Dumb is the inability to speak. I am only bringing this up to help you in sounding more intelligent to match your brain. As a finishing note, I look for quality, not cheap. I prefer an inexpensive underdog as opposed to some cheap, flimsy hunk of junk. What competitors of that dump bed are on the market that are made in the USA?

I wanted to grow my company but it does not seem worth it for me to make a living. Grass cutting and this stuff seem great when you make a ton of money in a day, but how do you justify it when it's just seasonal, and you have rain and such interfering with all the business. Do you have multiple crews?
