In the beginning of the video, preferably during the setup and explanation I'd love to have seen a summary of what the starter chest contains. It kinda feels weird getting introduced to the items inside the chest if the player is like: "To break the blocks I used the copper pickaxe from the starter chest." "I was getting hungry, so I just grabed the food from the starter chest." "I also used the copper hammer privided by the starter chest." I'm like what else? at 7:12 I got the fist glimpse of one of the chests. Players want to see and know the entire circumstances of a challenge video from the beginning, rather than being introduced to them one slice at a time. Other than that, this was a really enjoyable video once again!

Someone should make an animated video of "what would skyblock look like in real life." How big would the island have to be in order to reasonably house an ecosystem suitable for "end game human society?" What would the weather be like with no ocean? If the planet is no longer a spinning ball of earth, would the winds exist, what about no magnetic fields? How many feet of soil is actually required in order for trees to grow strong and healthy? If the only requirements for skyblock is that the end game can be reached, what even would the ecosystem have to be in order to sustain human development? What is the ratio of human innovation? How many people have to live off the land in order to reach the end game in a timely fashion? Would there be birds and worms and insects galore. What actually is the most space efficient ecosystem that is capable of producing all the resources necessary for healthy humans? How would we get iron or bronze or copper etc? Would we have to form hypercomplex systems for drawing out these materials from the soil, is there even a way to do so without the prerequisites being hyper industrialized equipment?

Im sure if I had your stone generator designs and actually knew what the welcome mat did I would've kept going. For me all thats really missing is some sort of autoblock breaker. Hello there, would you be interested in playing a SkyBlock meets One Block kind of map in VS? I'm cooking the map right now using command blocks. It is kinda chill. Needs no mods, though QoL mods and autosifter would make a more pleasant experience. The main concept is to use regenerating blocks like in One block maps (i tried to make a random one block but failed to implement it so far, so I went with the easier thing of adding different regenerating blocks(some do it fast, some with a delay for balancing reasons) to a skyblock like map with different islands and progression gated behind metal tools. The map goal is to reach steel and along the way get access to most of content possible from normal gameplay, but in a skyblock. If you have any other map ideas using regenerating blocks One Block style, would be nice to discuss it.
@11darklight1122 күн бұрын
I am also thinking of some map, where you get resources you need by surviving in the arena with enemies. I think it is possible to pull it off with current functionality of command blocks. Make some sorts of home area where you prepare and then go for a run to get as much resources as you can from an instance before you either die or escape. Though this kind of map gonna take quite some time to do and probably gonna need to find some dedicated builder for decorations

@@Oscillascape The games textures overall suffer from undersaturation. This is fine for a lot of blocks but it really shows on others, especially with how phenomenal the lighting system is. You almost can't appreciate how good the lighting is with how washed out everything ends up looking.
