I love watching y’all hike - but I’m curious to why you wouldn’t wear seatbelts on your drive to your destination. Being a former ER nurse and seeing what can happen in a blink of any eye, I hope you put them on after you turned the camera off. Stay safe on the trail!

I LOVE the way you two do your videos, this is such a joy to watch. Thank you for the ride and the inspiration!

Wow! I was behind you on the PCT this year and had to get off at Truckee (I hope to finish in 2023). I did the AT in 2019 and recognize a few shots from your videos. I know this is two weeks after you did this hike, but I have not watched forward. I hope you complete Kahtahdin together. When I did the AT my wife did the approach trail steps with me and then she joined me to do Kahtahdin in ME. Nothing was more important!

Hikes 2860 miles including most of the OCT then just completes the 100 miles wilderness for fun. Way to. At least there is no rush on this one and no worries about not finishing. Great vlog Sam & Moriah. Thank you.

Wow such a quick turn around from the PCT to the AT! I find your trail comparisons very interesting and would love hear more. Have either of you thru hiked the AT? In the future? Really like your videos....the cinematography, narration, music, and the cool end of the day map. Thanks

so glad you guys are back on the trail! Not sure if you two have hiked the A.T. before. When you get to the Hermitage you might want to take the Gulf Hagas Trail. Its 5 miles and reconnects with the A.T. and MUCH prettier.

Maybe next time. I saw Aug. 22 on the video so they must be done now.

Amazing you’re back hiking! One note! I find the music sometimes is too loud that I struggle to make out what you’re saying… maybe I’m just an old fogie with bad hearing tho
@ElPiedro802 жыл бұрын
I agree with the loudness of the music although this vlog isn't that bad, I usually turn on [CC] for the spoken parts (and the subtitles / closed captures are occasionally hilarious) so I don't have to turn up/down the volume for the spoken parts and the music parts.

Now as a Maine resident, I am worried about ticks. How many did you find on you on this trip?

Why are yall doing 20 mile days and not enjoying the hike.. it feels so rushed
@sam.and.moriah2 жыл бұрын
We enjoyed it a ton! I guess that's just the pace we like to walk. Some go faster, some slower.

After hiking the PCT 20 miles is a somewhat easy day. 😉

found this video a little disorienting with no mention of blood-thirsty mosquito swarms

I agree. Where's the continual suffering? The dodgy slippery log river crossings? The desert heat?
