I wish I could relate to this. My grandparents are/were pretty horrible, in exception of my late paternal grandpa but he died when I was 4 but I heard that he was a really kind man. My older sister has some good memories with him but I wasn't old enough to remember any. My other 3 have/had their favourite children and that extended to their favourite grandchildren as well. My mother and father were the black sheep in their respective family before marriage so you get the gist.

I broke down at the father listening to his dead daughters heart beating in someone else’s chest. Having lost a daughter and offering her organs up for transplant, I’d have loved for part of her to live on. The one where the girl asked her step dad to adopt her... That hit different. I'm 28 and STILL want to be adopted by my step dad but don't have the money. That means so much to kids honestly. He tried but my sperm donor wouldn't let him since he didn't legally relinquish his rights and then financial troubles. To any step parent with a partners kids with absent parents, it really means so much to kids to be accepted and loved by their step parents and one day I'll have enough money to pay for it. My dad (step) just suffered two heart attacks in three days. My dream is that he'll adopt me before he ever leaves this Earth. That's my dad and I love him so much and I'm just grateful to have him.

As someone who couldn't get the adoption papers filed in time, all I can tell you is push. Do what you can to get the papers and push to get them signed and filed away or it will be one of your greatest regrets in life. I'm 28 too and my mama, the woman who had the backbone to raise a wild child like me, passed away in 2021 suddenly and the only regret I have is that I didn't push a little harder to get papers signed where she was legally my mama.

I believe it is within most of us to help in another's moment of need. A few years ago, I saw a woman appearing to be struggling to keep standing. I ran across the road and saw that she was very pale. She explained that she suddenly felt very weak and needed help. I called for an ambulance. She then told me her mother was waiting for her at a nearby restaurant. I ran and brought her mom back just as an ambulance arrived. When they left, the mother asked for my name. Several days later, I began receiving calls to alert me that I had been named in a letter to our local newspaper. I was sent a screenshot of the letter that explained the woman's blood pressure had dropped dangerously and mentioned my assistance. That warmed my heart. I subsequently met mom and daughter for lunch. I had made 2 lovely new friends. Kindness costs nothing but can be so rewarding.

SO I had an amazing art teacher in high school. I had a major stroke one day in the middle of the street and a man and his daughter came and helped me. I never knew who they were until one day I was sitting at a restaurant waiting on an order when this complete stranger came up to me and put his hands on my knees and looked at me straight to the face 😳 and asked me if I knew who's he or if I remember him? I stared at him and said you look familiar but no. He said that he was the man that helped me when I suffered my episode and I couldn't believe it after it finally hit me I stood up and hugged crying and said thank you for saving my life.

Yes Dear Comfort Zon... You did made me cry. This is my kind of video. What made me cry was human touch. When the doctor on the field was listening the guys heart and the guy put his hand on doctors shoulder and the doctor cried. Just that one touch made the millions cry, that is power of touch.

Love them all so much. Kindness and goodness and doing something for a relative, friend, coworker or stranger are the air we breath! God bless all the people, who are willing to give of their time and love. The man repairing all the bicycles of the kids in the neighborhood, that's a lot of work! Parents often don't have the time with long hours and kids can't play for weeks sometimes. That he does that, time and again, makes him the grandpa of every kid around. Teaches them by example to be there for each other with real help.

*I gave a homeless man $200 on Christmas Eve. The next time I didn’t even recognize him. He had a hair cut, dog food for his dog (so cute) and managed to have enough money to get a job. He now has his own place, works as the manager for a grill type restaurant and hires any homeless people over others. It literally made me cry to see for once, someone else happy. Helping people in need is not only necessary, but it makes this place that we all live on better for everyone. No matter who it is, a homeless person (bum as a lot of people like to call them (how disgusting)), elderly, injured, etc. we all should help them to see another HUMAN happy. Who knows when in life you’ll need it back.*

The little boy giving his mom’s grave flowers for Mother’s Day did it for me I don’t know how he wasn’t crying, I was crying and I don’t even know her. He is so sweet to give his mother flowers I feel so bad for him and his dad. I know what it’s like to loose a grandparent but I don’t know what it’s like to loose a parent. It must be hard being so little and not having a mom I know she still loves him and he loves her so much. Like this comment if you feel bad for them too.

its so sad to see all the grandparent ones because my grandparents are in their 70's and not in the greatest of health (grandpa fought in vietnam) (grandma has diabetes and plenty other problems walking with a cane right now) and i am trying to enjoy every moment i have with them and i genuinely dont know what ill do when they are gone they are my soul and my whole life i love them more than i love my parents tbh, and i pray that they live forever, and hopefully they do, but i understand whats coming and im not ready for it

Enjoy every moment you have with them making new memories and cherish old memories. My grandparents are both gone and I miss them dearly. I'm sad because I never got to meet my mom's dad as he passed away from a heart attack while swimming at their vacation home. My mom was in her late teens when she lost her dad. She also lost her middle sister to Lupus as a teen, so two people that I never had the chance to meet. Heard some great stories about them so I cherish that, but still........
