100 SERIES TOYOTA LAND CRUISER WEAK DOOR LOCKS REPAIRED FOR FREE!!!

The 100 series Toyota Land Cruiser is known to have a central door locking system that gets weak over time. Our 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser 100 series had very weak door locks since we purchased it.
I discovered that fixing this issue is not only easy but can be done for free !!!

Always great content. I went the new motor route and used zip ties with a gun to secure clam shells back together. Leaving it serviceable.

Nice, hopefully they stay together, it is really annoying to get the door open if the mechanism fails and the child lock is on.

So far so good for us on this DIY. Our locks are going strong! It was such a inconvenience when our locks would randomly decide not to work at the worst possible times! The information I included is pretty straightforward best of luck to you!

Did you replace the actuators in every door?? Or just the driver door?

I did not replace any of them. I just repaired them using this little hack. I did all of them just to be on the safe side. I have had zero issues since! 🙌🏾
