Congrats mate, recently sold my i30N & purchased a mk6 1.4 dsg as a fun project / runaround. Currently sorting out initial faults with the car before bigger mods get orderd. Just wanted to say your videos have been great to watch over the past month and can't wait to see how much further you're going to take it! Which was your favourite mod out of everything you've done?

Thanks 💯. And I think my favourite mod would have to be the air filter. It sounds so nice and in the past I never sat in or even heard a car with turbo sounds except for in need for speed 😂😂 so when I got them sounds in my first car it was like a 12 yr old me dream coming true😂😂

Yeahhh I've got some plans in the works right now. So far I've got a rough idea for a intercooler, custom piping and so on it's just because mines the first 1.4 tsi to be pushed this far so I need to be really careful so that I don't blow the engine up😂😂

@@Fizzy.g Good it’s been a long time waiting😂 Ibiza cupra 1.4tsi parts will work as it’s the same meaning a Ibiza cupra is just a golf/polo 1.4tsi underneath barley any difference, don’t worry about blowing it up😂

I've checked and the cavd engines which are in them cars have different internals 😢 and nobody knows the limit with my internals so I'm trying to ask around to see what other information I can find out. But the golf will definitely be going past stage 1

@@Fizzy.g Only different internals not a big difference in my opinion I’ll just send it😂 just go stage 2 software to be on the safe side as stage 3 needs forged for the cave engine

Yeah mines caxa so I'm gonna go for stage 2 and then slowly creep it up to the limit. The aim with the current budget is 190-200bhp but if I manage to get a bigger budget them definitely a k03 swap and obviously upgrade the valve springs. Then I think it can make it to abt 300 ish. another issue is I daily this car and I'm 19 so if it wasn't my daily and I had a bit more money spare then id definitely just send it and see whatever happens 😂😂
