Did you change the spark plug to 0.7mm electrode gap or you stick with the 0.8mm one? Also did you change the fuel injectors too?

They don't need to be gapped and no I'm on the stock injectors

No issues it was a straight swap not coding or mapping necessary

Hi, I have the same car and was thinking of getting a stage1 myself, will the stock clutch and gearbox wear really quickly? Or do I need to replace any parts?

@@miwillcock As long as you stay at stage1, the clutch would be able to hold up. :D

@@miwillcock Over stage1 you will need replacement parts. Be sure you timing chain is okay tho! Before any trashing , drives ;-)

Yeah aslong as you treat it well and always cold start it, always use good quality oil and do the oil changes on time then the engine will last u forever

The only issue with that is the garage he gets the work done at needs to be VAT registered, i tried this with my turbo but any savings with AA would be defunct by the overpriced VAT Registered Garage Prices, so in the end didn't bother with the AA Thing, but look into it if you can find a good VAT registered garage that will look after you then go for it bro

@@MrWaheedulHaque Yh but that’s still saving him some sort of money tho and the garage can be any of his choice that’s vat registered he can get a £500 set for the chain better quality and pay £300 in Labour 😳 which still saves him some sort of money
