1000w VOILAMART kit will not climb 10degree hill

Voltage = RPM; Amps = torque... If I had to guess, it looks like your battery isn't rated for the power draw under load. Voilamart 1000w motors are rated for ~45n.m of torque and that's plenty to drag you up something twice as steep. There's a lot of dodgy "unfit for purpose" batteries on the market, I'd check the continuous discharge rating of the cells. They also have a maximum discharge which only lasts about 10 seconds, then goes limp. C: A good preliminary test would be to whack it on full power under heavy load then note how much the voltage drops (V-drop) while keeping the pressure on, any more than 5v and I'd consider it a duff. If I'm right you're murdering that battery btw.

It's the battery mate. My voilamart kit could climbing any hill. It's shows you're only pulling 4-6 a current. Should be around 20a full throttle.

Power draw for that hub should be around 1200w with a decent battery and no limiters/restrictors - that's whether it's under load or not. Lifting up the back wheel should allow the speedo to hit nearly 50mph - which is as fast as the motor will spin. The first thing I'd do is get a multimeter on that battery and then go through all the controller settings on the screen. Also, going up steep hills at low speeds without pedaling will shorten motor life.

something seriousley off kilter with your kit .I have a 1000 w hub motor and it will pull me and my camping trailer up a half kilometer 30% hill no problem

On your controller it should have the working amps put you desplay to that amp In i think program 8 or 7 turn to 100 put magnets to 47 Make sure you have the correct wheel size If none of these work try another battery I have a 2500w motor it go up any hill i try

bro pay decent battery i have same motor and 48v 40.6ah samsung battery and it is a beast me with cargo delivering food in bag and trunk goes 30% hill 30mph

Something is wrong--I have a the same/similiar kit off ebay and also have videos and mine went up a hill like that one--except mine was 1/4 to 1/3 of a mile long and it never went under 20 mph and ate the hill up in 20 to 30 seconds.I have dual drive--dual motors--dual batteries and got the 1000 because my 750 strained--would still do the hill at 10 to 12--but something is bad--I climbed only hills like this with just the 1000 watt hub motor--15 to 20 miles worth in 3 days and still had half the battery charge left. Your motor sounds very weak compared to mine.

Might be that spacer nut you worked on of right rear fitting. Recall you had to wig gig that area as it maybe just a little stuck. Not sure other than what others suggesting but hope ya ride is all right now. Its not cool to hear another e biker with issues for we all 1.

The battery is quite obviously faulty flt it with a good battery and it will fly up that little hill no problem I have two 1000 watt kits and that hill is a piece of piss.

the hub motors need more speed for a good working and efficiency ...... climb a hill at less 15-17kmh is a bad Idea in a hub motor .... pd: I have 2 voilamart 1000w ebikes

I have 1000w motor kit also with heavier bike than yours i climb big hills 40 km per hours very easy . Buy again that crap chinese cells battery lol. You have either faulty motor , or battery .
