In today's video I teardown my gsxr600 Chinese buggy and donate the frame to one of my subscribers! I begin work on the crosskart. Redesigning the suspension for more travel and strength. I redesign the monocock for a simpler and stronger design!

Do not rush this build! The lawnmower is a fun country side kick back build, on the other hand this cross cart will be put through alot more; and you want to stay safe in any event of a crash. Take more time on the kart finish up the mower. As always love the videos!! Keep it up man 🙏

Finish what you can as the parts show up- even if you have to do some work to edit them together. The parts show up on schedules no one has very good control of, that should improve but the when is still "out there". On all the things happening in your life- I hope one of them is school- you have a great sense for mechanical engineering and I think you would be an asset in that field. The rest of life get's in the way, but it is important to making Vasily the man he wants to be. Do your best, always and remember family is forever. We'll be hee when the parts show up or you have time between all those pesky life events! Fill us in- most of us want to hear you are doing well! FR

Should tilt your A- arms and shocks back 15°. You will like how it takes the bumps better. Helps when trying to climb something that is straight up. Instead of the tires having to go straight up. The 15° tilt, in the suspension, allows the tire, to go back, a little bit, as it goes up.

I love the cross kart build, but you are so damn to finishing the mower, definitely keep the shocks mounted on the bottom plate to help with your center of mass keeping it lower to the ground, just move the top mounts out a few inches to get more travel. Love the builds

Yea definitely need to mount the shock further out. Bend two 180° hoops. 1 leg will be longer because of the taper In the frame. Cope the ends with the hole saw jig. Plate the bottom of the hoop. Weld the shock tabs to the bottom of the plate. Then weld a piece of tubing across the cart from the outermost point of the 2 hoops. Or gusset and brace the shit out of them. You want it to handle the impact of jumping.

6:42 you'll need about 1/2" worth of shims to adjust those rod ends though.... As you lengthen the arms they become wider at the chassis mounts......
