btw, the closer you mount the shock to vertical, the more true your spring rate is to what it is rated. The more vertical the shock, the firmer the ride; the less vertical, the softer the ride (but less support, especially on cornering)

Excited to see you working on this build again! I agree with some of the other commenters that your upper control arm design at the frame may be on the weak side. Maybe run a tube from the upper part of the frame down to horizontal tube and closer to the front heim joint. Then do a plate steel lateral bracket for lateral movement. Just my 2 cents. Can't wait to see this thing ripping!

If you push the Sawzall against whatever your cutting it won't have a chance to bounce like it did at 2:23. Plus if your arms/saw itself are moving up and down then the blade is not. I used to cut like you are here until an older experienced fabricator taught me this trick. Now I just jam the saw with all my weight into whatever I'm cutting and lock it onto the backing plate that the blade slides through and I very rarely have kick back like you did here. Also I'm binge watching all your videos because they are great and you are really smart to figure out all that you do on the fly, like the steering acronym and suspension geometry. Dope sht my guy

You need to put a brace between those long upright frame tubes where the rear shocks are mounted or you're going to get flex right there. The whole rear end is probably going to flex without some bracing and reinforcement. It looks like it's going to be awesome though.

Safety safety safety my young brother. Disc brakes on all 4 corners with that performance level. Brake a rear axle and you have 1 wheel stopping power on the rear only - not good enough - both rear is marginal at best. That thing is going to be a rocket. Something I learned from Daryl "Madd Max" Ehrlich driving one of my uncle's drag boats. He would climb into the capsule with shin guards on his legs - smart guy. Beautiful build BTW.

You are doing well, I will be honest and say way better than I thought, but I'm happy you are showing the full design and build process including all the upgrades to the design. Expect to do a lot as I think you will always be thinking of improvements as you deffinatly have the talent to take things a hell of a lot further. I think you will snap a few welds as it will surprise you the load that will be hitting those components once you get the cart going at full speed, it will be light but once you start cornering the g forces will soon start to stress every weld. I'm not criticising you or saying your welds are bad all I mean is as its all your own design you won't know how things are going to be effected until you get this brilliant little buggy working hard, so I would advise bringing the welder with you and a good inverter to run it if you do crack a weld when you are field testing it. But this looks amazing so far, well done and keep building sont stop with this one you really do have quite a bit of raw talent so keep keep it burning buddy. Really well done 👏

I'd definitely put a cross bar on those A arm mounts, where it's sticking out there all by itself, on that top A arm.. Even if you have to bend the bar up and over the brake disc... You should tie them together, because it's pretty easy to see, that thing is going to bend with a heavy jump.

Hey man it’s looking good. One thing you will need to address is those rear upper arm mounts, the ones closer to the motor. You will need to tie them in so there’s no chance they can move in the X Y directions. They can’t just stop in the middle of no where un-supported in one direction / plane. Just trying to help 👍🏻
