I started watching this channel back when it was mostly fish. I suffered from severe anxiety, and I would watch your videos to calm and distract myself. I love the outro music (and then intro). Your voice is very calm and not too animated, which a lot of youtubers do to keep viewers encaged. I learn about wildlife and get my very needed dose of zen. Thank you❤

Folks don’t forget that although the big animals look cool and are well known, small animals like insects are also at great risk of extinction and deserve recognition. There’s a pretty bad bias in the conservation world which prioritizes certain animals (often those that are relatively large, famous, and cool or cute looking). A lot of the less known animals actually wouldn’t be as expensive to save compared to those which we often associate conservation with. That isn’t to say we shouldn’t save the ones we are already working on, just that the small, less famous ones are just as (and in some cases directly important to our own survival) important. ❤

I genuinely wonder if the focus on charismatic megafauna is a CCP-funded psyop? It’s not a coincidence how Giant Pandas are the “mascot” for conservation

9:40 The same can be said for some fish sold too. It's kind of sad that those who don't know may end up endangering the lives of the fish they buy from the store. However, with the amount of the time that has passed, hopefully the fish sold in stores are not wild caught but bred. Bred not only for the trade but the sake of the animal. Some endangered species of fish only survived due to them being bred in captivity. It is a sad fate yet it rescues them as well; a paradox.

Nice video, we all love Arnie, and congratulations on the 100k 🥳🥳. Here's an idea for a series of videos: "What are the most unique species of their kind?" and "What's the rarest species of their kind?" Here's a headsup, for corvids, one of the most unique and beautiful is the Tufted Jay, but very little is known about them, and not many people know this bird. They are micro-endemic to an area near my hometown, so I'm lucky to have seen them in person.

Australia: Thylacine (Thylacinus cynocephalus) for sure! Asia: The Vietnamese rhinoceros (Rhinoceros sondaicus annamiticus) or the Wolterstorff/Yunnan lake Newt (Hypselotriton wolterstorffii) or maybe the Chinese paddlefish (Psephurus gladius) or rather Steller's sea cow (Hydrodamalis gigas)? In my opinion when it comes to cloning animals I would say the answer is always yes if it’s possible, if it’s extinct because of humans and its niche still exists in the wild, then re-introduce it to where it used to be if it went extinct naturally, then just keep it in a zoo and let it continue living
