I've heard about a study about how a dinosaur's bone was shattered on accident and they were surprised to find remnants of the bone marrow completely in tact over those thousands of years. It was on one of MatPat's video's, which I then looked into because of disbelief.

Just to clear up a few mistakes for you guys: #12 Spandam's sword is an inanimate devil fruit user, I overlooked it, so there should be 3 instead of 2 #15 is correct. Daz Bones is the only know bounty hunter to have eaten a devil fruit. He is a member of baroque works, which is comprised of bounty hunters, but the other devil fruit eaters in baroque works were not bounty hunters BEFORE or DURING they're association with the organization. Daz Bones was a bounty hunter before joining the organization, and is currently the only known bounty hunter to do so. For instance, Mr 2 is not and never has been a bounty hunter. Just figured I'd clear that up for ya. #29 When Dragon appeared is not the first use of haki, it was indeed Shanks, but that was in a flashback and not in the current timeline. Dragon (arguably) was the first person in the current timeline to use it. I should've worded it differently to say the least. So Shanks was first, but Dragon was first in the current timeline instead of a flashback. I also said in #59 that Shanks was the first to show any form of haki, so make sure you watch the whole thing before saying that I didn't mention it. #36 Brook indeed does not have blood, but he did at one point in time ;) Hope that clears some stuff up for you guys! #78 is wrong. there are no signs that Nico Oliva was on Roger's crew. Oden was on Roger's crew and he was able to read and write the poneglyphs so he was most likely the one who wrote the message on the belfry in Skypia. Oliva traveled for 6 years with a group of 32 archaeologist from Ohara (this group was not the Roger pirates as when she was captured by Saulo he said they weren't). She was then captured and Saulo then helped her escape she then went straight to Ohara where as far as we know she died. She also showed no indication of actually knowing what happened in the void century which Rayleigh said that he and the other Roger pirates knew. And finally she was way to weak to have traveled to the end of the Grand Line.

Here I just spent like 20 minutes scrolling through the wiki trying to find where he got that info. I can concur that OP was incorrect. Olivia was in fact not a member of the Roger Pirates. Roger could hear the voice of all things, so he interpreted the text that way. That being said, he also had Kozuki Oden in his crew, who could read and write the language.

I feel like Dracule Mihawk is Yonko level. I mean sure having the title "Greatest Swordsman in the World" should be a nice reference, but he's also built a rivalry with Shanks. At Marineford it was him who representing the Shichibukai launched the first attack on Whitebeard. The thing about the Shichibukai system, is that it's its own branch of power. Over the years members have been reported as weak as Buggy to as strong as Donflamingo(who faced Admirals). Meaning its Pirates can be as strong as we'd like to imagine. Anyway there's 1 thing I'd like to add to this 101. Dracule Mihawk is the only One Piece character who has not shown signs off struggle or "Broken a sweat" in any of his battles. Even against Buggy, a man who you'd think he'd give him trouble(over his Devil Fruit powers) was taken care of so easily.

Did you know that, in the Cell saga of Dbz, there was a character who looked exactly like early Luffy (Strawhat, blue shorts, red upper body clothing without arms), but he was only seen in one panel and only from behind. Oda has stated that Dbz was the biggest influence for One Piece, making it possible that he took the design from Toriyama. But because it wasnt an estabilished character, just some random person, and he couldnt be completely seen, its not a copycat. Oda has also stated, that Luffy is directly based on Gokus character and traits like seemingly endless hunger and strong bond to his friends, as are most modern anime protagonists

Zoro didn't use Observation Haki when fighting Daz Bones. Everything has a rhythm that a swordsman can sense. This is a cutting technique and Zoro learned the rhythm of the stones, leaves, metal, etc. during that fight. Damn, people don't even pay attention to the anime/manga.

Great video, but just to clarify Chopper is not one of a "few" characters with a direct character design inspired by someone else, in fact quite a lot of characters in one piece draw thier character designs from famous characters. Like Ivankov being inspired by Dr Frank N Furter and MANY more examples.
