6:11 - 6:25 everything was correct except for the “oldest still inhabited city in the US” part. That title actually goes to a small town in Alabama called Childersburg. It has been inhabited since 1540, 25 years before the founding of St. Augustine, but because Childersburg is so small and because it is in Alabama, St. Augustine gets the credit because it is in Florida meaning it is far more advertised for tourism.

If you want to know more and everything about Florida, read Tim Dorsey's books. Tim used to write for the Tampa tribune and became a private author in 1999. He has been inside the Florida archives and knows everything about Florida even the stuff that is being covered up. His books are very good reads too, since 1999 to present day he has published a new book annually and still does to this day, Serge A. Storms is florida man. Ive been waiting for years to see Tim turn theses books into a solid movie or movie series.

The original space station was built over top of an ancient nativive burial grounds and it was contraversial, they even abandoned the old station and built the kennedy space center. Disney land was built on a massive orange grove with a citrus tower look out, the tower is where the castle is in the park. The orange groves were so large tourist would go visit and get lost for days and survive from eating oranges, the citrus tower was used to observe and locate lost tourist and help them out.

The water table is very high too, thats why so many sink holes, the water displaces the earth you stand on. In cities you are living on a massive slab but if you dig in certain spots or leave city and dig one scoop the hole will instantly fill up with water. Thats why most florida towns wont grow any larger because they cant use stilts or build on the land safely.

Nobody knows exactly where Ponce de Leon first landed at in florida, but Ponce wasnt aware of how large the continent was and named the new land La Florida, Coral Castle Ed built this giant rock castle in the 1920s with tuberculosis, nobody knows how he built it alone and he died with the secret, Ed even got bullied by the locals in Florida city where he first built the castle and he actually hired a truck and secretly loaded the entire structure onto the trailer without being seen and was able to rebuild it where it is located today north of miami in dade county. The front gate is a 9 short tons 8 foot tall massive rock with a pole in the center, it is so heavy but easy to spin a child can move it. The gate broke in 1986 and it took 3 men and a crane to dissemble and replace the rock gate, The gate was so heavy the crane struggled to functioned, keep in mind this was all created and built by one man who worked in secret, this is a true story too. NOBODY KNOWS how he did this, so many stories and attempts to give answers but Ed is the only man who knew what he was doing and he died never sharing that secret.

But I must say it was a fun growing up place, bike week, spring break, Daytona beach has the world's most famous beach I went to a lot, springs where you can swim with otters and alligators to name a few over a giant 100 foot deep natural spring, got drunk and partied on the beach quite often, and it was a great place growing up.
