this got me chills. Just for the simple fact that knowing this is a band of nowadays but sounds like 70’s rock ‘n’ roll. It made feel like living in that era and made me feel how people felt hearing those songs right when they were trending. Fantastic!

So a cover band with a far less than Bonzo, far less than Page, a decent Robert Plant is as good as the real thing, even though the real thing is the basis for the real thing and doesn't have to live up to anyone but themselves. I'm so glad we put no value on authenticity anymore. The White Stripes is a Zeppelin influenced band that does right by those influences. These are just fucking copycats.
@ethangabizon7133

yeah; led zeppelin was groundbreaking, revolutionary, and every member was a master of his craft. this band is rehashing what was done 40 years ago and i feel like the reason they have so much popularity now is because theyre kind of cashing in on the nostalgia of zeppelin fans who want to see the same style return to the mainstream. i understand theyre still a fairly new band so they need time to grow and develop, but cashing in on being an inferior led zeppelin will not last very long for them. i hope they do find their own style, because id like to see this band be successful. i think they could do much better and be a driving force in contemporary music, if they make their own path for themselves instead of following someone elses

Boy is this some revisionist history. Led Zepplin's been sued to hell and back multiple times for basically co opting African American Blues Music and playing it on cranked amps. The Lemon Song is Howlin' Wolf's Killing Floor. Dazed and Confused was a blatant rip off and rearrangement of a contemporary artist named Jake Holmes. Whole Lotta Love was a take on a Muddy Waters song. Almost every song you can think of from the Zepplin catalog has a wikipedia entry about how it "borrows" from an earlier song by someone else. Zep is my favorite band, but let's be honest here. They "stood on the shoulders of giants."

Yes, they sound like Zeppelin, a bit of GNR, at times so many other bands, BUT they have their own sound and look. 💯 percent charisma on stage, and all the talent that goes with it. GVF will go far as long as they show and prove their stamina and endurance. I got a feeling they will....

Ok babyboomers, name a single modern rock or metal band that doesnt play their instruments or write the material? Even Kittie did both. Terrible bands like Primer 55, Shinedown, Switchfoot, 5 finger death punch, and Adema all played and wrote. Even awful screamo trash like i set my friends on fire and blood on the dance floor played and wrote all that shit. As for good modern bands with a vintage vibe: Never heard of Mastadon? Wolfmother? The White Stripes? The Black Keys? That new Arctic Monkeys? The good Muse records? Avenged Sevenfold? That new band Ghost? Band of Horses? Royal Blood? The Sword? I don’t expect dinosaurs or olds to know who The Mara Volta or At The drive In are ( even tho they been around +20 years) but theres no excuse for not owning any Porcupine Tree CDs. 80% of heavy metal now sounds throwback to either thrash/death/prog or sabbath. Just avoid most bands with -core as an adjective, most deathcore/metalcore sounds like tweens on bath salts made it, but any band claiming to be “real metal” should be decent. If you loved sabbath esp the first record, why arent you into all the amazing stoner/doom metal releases? 2018 was an incredible year for that style. If your kids are super edgy and trendy, start em off with Escape the Fate or Sleeping With Sirens, its crap but its a step in the right direction. Even My Chemical Romance had some really intricate and classic rock sounding guitars on the first 2 albums. Yes i get it in your day, the biggest bands were nearly always the best, talent got you a deal, lps couldnt have filler, you had to be good live, and be timeless, just to be heard. For all the ways the music industry failed, and all the horrible cheap pop music that gets shit out, the internet, low recording costs and cheap distro now means there are literally thousands of bands in every genre. And hundreds are good. We will never hear it all. Theres simply more good music than we can ever listen to in a lifetime. Stop crying about the good old days and playing out those same 5 bands from your youth, your ignorance is a choice.

Great sound🔝This band is goin to get big,if they stick together and don't break up. Look at Aerosmith.Anyway great riffs and vocals and a tight grooves, Together with Airbourne this is the future of a new generation of Bluesrock,inspired by the classic Rockbands🎙🎸👍🏽
