Whats cool about flyng helicopters in Arma is the ground detail. It makes you feel you fly so much faster than it let say DCS

I tried to fly helicopters in Arma 3 with an X52 pro in arma years ago, that didn't go so well. The collective settings were weird if I remember correctly - but this looks fun. I may give it a try again later, but this time with the warthog ^^

Everybody says to pla y this with keyb and mouse. Like callmeTommeh.. great pilot. But i dnt wanna make it too easy and to unimmersive. So since we are playing GR wildlands and i use vehicles switching to xbox one pad i also managed to set properly vehicles or at least chopper and plane on it in ARMA 3. I have though a thrustmaster full HOTAS. COULD YOU TELL ME how to set it properly please? Shoudl i follow the same logic i used to set the Xbox one? I also have pedals with the Thurstmaster 16000 full hotas... I would really love to set it realisticall although the chopper don't have a throttle as far as I know but just a STICK.. (or 2 anyway not used both from same person in case of 2)... SO how to set realistically the hotas? Just stick and pedals? Thanks. But how to empower the rotor and depower on HOTAS which is what I set on the pad triggers indeed ?

I hear you mate but it puts me at too much of a disadvantage when flying King of The Hill. To stay alive I need to be in and out as quickly as possible, flying with the AFM doesn't facilitate that as much as the BFM does. As I mentioned at the start of the video when I want proper AFM realism I fly helicopters in DCS ;)

AFM is virtually unplayable for any practical purposes, the input lag is simply absurd.
