I’m still of the opinion that Adventure Time never really went downhill, it just changed its focus. It generally went in a more artsy, symbolic direction for season 6, and while some episodes didn’t work, it still had several that would rank among my favorites. Episodes like “Escape From the Citadel”, “Is That You?”, “Evergreen”, “Graybles 1000+”, and “ You Forgot Your Floaties” were all excellent, and I’m still willing to defend “Breezy” for its somber depiction of depression. After season 6, the show invested more time in longer running story arcs that answered many of its longstanding questions mysteries. I would go as far as to say that seasons 6-8 is my favorite era of the show.

Season 6 was really rough and I'm upset everybody dropped the show after Breezy because it really improved itself after that. Finn was learning from his mistakes, Jake became more caring and responsible, more plotlines were resolved and fixed, and others. If you want to go back and watch Adventure Time, watch the miniseries Islands. It's what got me back into the show.

Question: What's a show you wish you'd forget about entirely, rather it'd be to experience it again or to suppress bad memories? I'd want to forget Rick and Morty because maybe I would be able to enjoy it again by forgetting everything revolving outside the show... Maybe. I'm not sure about a more positive answer... maybe Steven Universe just to feel the impact of the really big early moments like Pearl getting stabbed, Lapis and (especially) Peridot appearing for the first time, Stronger than you, ect. Season 1b might be my favorite or 2 for the earlier part of it.

I for one, after years of shipping Bubbline, felt a bit underwhelmed when Marcy and PB finally kissed. I mean, the context of it was kinda odd and it seemed random (like, they shared much more intimate moments where kissing would have been more appropriate before) And doing it in the finale seems kinda cliche. If that had happened a few years ago, it would have been way bolder. But eh, I am still glad it happened I guess. Other than that, despite it's major dips in quality, I guess I will miss AT.

They really had to do it the last episode because producers wouldn't let them before. They could only be implied and I think them just being confirmed with a kiss was enough satisfaction (tho yeah there are way better bubbline moments)

Adventure Time apparently found it’s footing ever since they started doing miniseries and from then on, the stories went back to being serialized and undoing poor story decisions. Finn actually gets his arm taken away again and replaced with a robot arm in the final seasons.

As an active member of the Godzilla fanbase, I can say, without a doubt, that most people don't like the anime triology *at all*. (You do know Ghidorah's a giant space cloud, right?) I don't know if it's as hated as the 1998 movie was before people started having nostalgia for it but it's not that far either. As for why there's so many movie series (American, Anime, Shin), it's because, in like the early 2010s, when it seemed like Toho, the Japanese rights holder to Godzilla, wasn't going to make another movie anytime soon (the last movie had been 6 something years ago and their last financially successful movie was more like 10 years ago), they got Legendary to agree to make a Godzilla movie triology (Godzilla 2014, Godzilla King of the Monsters, Godzilla v Kong), but whenever an American movie was being produced or released, Toho agreed to not make any movies. Godzilla was shown to have financial plausibility, and there was time between the release of 2014 and the production of GKotM, so Toho made Shin Godzilla. Seeing the success of that, Toho wanted to make more, but Legendary started producing GKotM, so Toho made an agreement with independent directors and writers and Polygon Pictures (who also animated the new Star Wars Resistance) to direct, write, and animate a Godzilla triology, respectively. Legendary and Polygon are fully independent from Toho and each other, but Toho can't make the new, more traditional Godzilla series (separate from Shin) they're planning on making until GKotM is fully released and GvK is fully produced and released (GvK is currently filming) due to their agreement with Legendary. Thus all of the ongoing series (American, Anime, Japanese) right now.
