Great band '10cc', a big fan of their stuff, my favourite tracks by them: "Donna", "Rubber Bullets", "The Wall Street Shuffle", "I'm Not In Love", "Art for Art's Sake", "I'm Mandy, Fly Me", "Good Morning Judge", "The Things We Do for Love", "Dreadlock Holiday". There are many more but these are some of my favourites by them.

You can't go wrong going down this rabbit hole they had so many hits it's unbelievable you won't be sorry!!!! See belows comments all great hits!!!!! This group was around the same time as Supertramp you need to listen to this band as well, had so much creativeness in their music!!!!!!

So glad you enjoyed this, one of my favourites of many from 10cc! This takes me back to a school trip in the mid 70's, crammed into a mini-bus going along with this on the radio. Fantastic musicians combined with quirky (a little eccentric maybe?) British humour. So many hits and great albums - Donna, Rubber Bullets, The Dean and I, Silly Love, The Wall Street Shuffle, Art for Art's sake, I'm Mandy fly me (pick me, pick me!), Dreadlock holiday. Cheers

It's ridiculous and brilliant. Pop music used to be able to get away with being clever if the hooks were strong enough. I'm Mandy, Fly Me is the clear favourite for me of 10cc's singles.

10cc were brilliant! They were always prepared to experiment and push boundaries. My earliest personal favourite of the band was "Wall Street Shuffle". The bands two best albums were "How Dare You" (lots of great tunes there) and "The Original Soundtrack" - please check out Une Nuit A Paris. Life Is A Minestrone is from that album.

I remember many nights, partaking in a certain herb, listening to the How Dare you album. Just brilliant! Songs like I'm Mandy, Iceberg, Head Room, I Wanna Be The Boss (that one always bought fits of laughter from my ex, who also was enjoying that herb!) and of course, Art For Art Sake. Now, that would be a great album for your Patrion channel! Godley and Creme splintered off and had some success, with albums like Freeze Frame (another album that is more enjoyable with herbal enhancement, songs like Strange Apparatus/An Englishman In New York, not the Sting song, I Pity Inanimate Objects, Freeze Frame) and Ismism (Under Your Thumb, Joeys Camel, Cry to name a few) Godley and Creme also got into making videos, for example, they did the Falling Down The Mountain video for INXS. They did what was leading technology video for their song, Cry, where peoples faces morphed into other faces. It was so cutting edge in its day, the process was used in Michael Jackson's Thriller video!

10cc songs are fair enough - well played and inventive. However, don't be tempted to stray into the dodgy Wedding Bells from Godley and Creme - a crime against synth pop! Incidentally, the best minestrone i ever had was in a restaurant on the slopes of Claviere ski resort. So good, that even the miserable hag who served it couldn't spoil the delicious flavours. Molto bene!

Happy happy happy happy song. Daft as Basil Brush and twice as funny. Lol Crème at his finest with a song he wrote with Eric Stewart, an unusual combination. It’s so daft but so good. The follow up was I’m Not in Love! Lol was always on the verge of a fit of giggles even when it was serious. He was so notorious they named a TLA after him. My wife is a teacher and she was doing songs about food (no buildings). So I suggested this - it became a school fave. You should see the TOTP performance of this as they are clearly having a ball. See also Donna, The Dean and I and Rubber Bullets for more of Lol cracking up. Great Eric based songs of Wall Street Shuffle, I’m Mandy - Fly Me, The Things We Do for Love, Good Morning Judge and, obviously, I’m Not in Love. Graham’s most well known lead is Dreadlock Holiday. Kevin used to pop up in Lol songs - weird that he became pretty much the sole vocalist in Godley and Creme when all the others had UK number 1s.
