Did you set the sensors off in the car? You’re not supposed to compress the rear pistons like that. You need to disconnect the electronic parking brake first and hand twist it. Forcing it damages the sensors.

The parking brake was disengaged and unplugged. Nothing was damaged. Brakes are working properly and the parking brake engages and disengages properly.

@@RobsHouseawesome. I understand you disconnected it. There was some people who had theirs damaged from compressing it. Glad yours isn’t damaged though. Nice video!

@ I compressed it using the appropriate tool. Idk how else you’d do it haha

Off the top of my head I don't remember. I just looked it up when I did it. The honda forums know :)

I tried that off-camera. The rust on the screw was so bad that it had become like red loctite in the threads. I soaked it in WD-40 and hammered it for a lot longer than I included in the video to get it to loosen.

Literally says this scre servs no purpose... Uses lug nut... That's what the screw is for. Baba

I said it is unnecessary. It serves no purpose other than to align the rotor prior to installing the lug nuts, but it gets caked up with rust and makes it harder to remove. So, I elected not to reuse it...
