I woke up this morning from a dream that I was late for milking, until I realized that I haven't had a barn and cows for more than 20 years! Watching your video of Christmas day milking brings back a lot of memories. Thanks for making me smile. Love the verses at the end. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I grew up on my Uncle's farm in Bethlehem CT. From about 1955-1967 I helped with the milking and other chores. When I got out of the Navy the farm had been sold. Like you I miss the times on the farm. I really appreciate these videos and like the fact that the younger generations are involved in agriculture. Best wishes for Christmas and The New Year.🇺🇸🐢🐄🚒🚑🎄

There's thousands of dairy farmers in this country who woke up this morning to milk cows before doing Christmas. It is a diligent job, seven days a week, 365 days a year. I'm in dairy country. I appreciate the dairy farmers. Never complain about the price of milk being the farmer's fault, farmers don't get to set the price.

I immediately recognized the song playing, "Breath of Heaven", I think performed by Amy Grant who was the artist to make it popular. The song is from the perspective of Mary, the mother of Jesus, as she was contemplating the angel's announcement to her. Little did she know that she would give birth to the Savior of the world in, essentially, a barn of livestock. 🐑🐏 Whether planned by you, or simply by the Holy Spirit's guidance, it was a lovely moment to hear that song while caring for your livestock. 🐄🐮🐄 Special moments!!

Growing up on a small dairy (milking 35 cows) was a chore when you are small. In fact, all our cows were named we had so few. But what a wonderful place to be raised. Really respect your hard work and work ethic Eric. I know the constant drag of never ever finishing a project for good is sometimes over whelming, but you have such an organized and thought out process, and you really care about your (girls and boys) that it is so very fun to watch.
