Thanks for the video. Just a bit of honest feedback: I left the video more confused than when I started. When you post a rotation video, I expect a clear audible and/or easy visual version of the rotation that viewers can digest. E.g. "To start I cast X, I then follow with Y, which leads me to casting Z" supplemented with a visual of prio order. Instead, you just hit dummies in Dornogal whilst word vomiting what you're doing and expect us to pick up the rotations by watching those tiny icons. I understood the main principles of the rotation that you explain in the video, but you don't actually clearly explain or show what the rotation is. Please could you write it down for us to make it clear? No disrespect meant by this; really appreciate the content. Just needs to be clearer.

I felt the same way. That single target explanation was bad, especially because he didnt set up power surge for the tempest, which was a "must". Using Lava surge after casting Earth shock is also bad, I think you should Lava burst into Earth Shock instead of lightning bolt. Casting Tempest while having 1 stack of Arc Discharge up... Because he casted lava burst instead of an instant Lightning bolt. You also want to cast lava burst after Ice Fury, instead of lightning bolt. Maybe it was because it was lagging, but then do a retake. This wasnt helpful.

Idk man, it feels so clunky. Im not a big fan of the mastery focus, sometimes I feel like it bricks a GCD when Tempest gets repeated. Also "we" were promised less LB or CL spam with this rework, but I feel like I still only cast that. EoGS is just absolutely abysmal imo, and now having to weave in Icefury for the EE buff just throws off my muscle memory a lot. Maybe that will change, but overall with some bugs/inconsistencies going on, I kinda want the old version back (cause at least there I had more defensive ability uptime). Maybe because I was more attuned to that rotation and I need some time readjusting. Doing such an arguably huge change months into the expansion just feels awful. The secondary stat rebalancing and having to recraft, refarm items, all that other nonsense just adds on top of the frustration. All that for an unbalanced mess that will surely be nerfed soon, why even bother commiting to the change? Idk man, I'm just rambling at this point

Yes, that's your burst. You also depend on procs of Tempest and Tempest in general. Juggle that with SoP if you play that talent.

Very detailed explanation thanks a lot for the video, only one question do you manually proc elemental equilibrium every time is up in aoe situations? if so what fire spell do you cast with it, do you just manually hard cast a lava burst with icefury buff active or cast a flame shock to proc it?

For AoE, i try to pre-cast Frost shock while my tank is gathering the pull + Flame shock. if I have ascendance up, I skip the Flame shock part. Sometimes that is not possible.

What do you think about the Enhanced Imbues talent on the class tree? says it increases our weapon imbues but we currently do not use flametongue weapon, so would that make this talent redundant?? as well as how useful is Totemic surge if you're not using magma totem if you consider most of our totems are 1-3 minutes, 6 seconds doesn't seem effective

The Master of the Elements talent causes your Lava Burst to enhance the damage of your next Nature, Physical or Frost spell. So it's best to use right before your Maelstrom Spenders. When you use a maelstrom spender it will proc Surge of Power which Tempest can now also benefit from causing it to overload. This is big damage so I personnally always prioritise using Tempest when I get Surge of Power. I do: Lava Burst at 45 Maelstrom > Earthshock/Earthquake > Tempest

Is Fusion of Elements bugged? After I cast Icefury, even if I cast Chain Lightning (damaging nature spell), there is no Elemental Blast. However, if I use Flame Shock - BOOM, Elemental Blast.

you need 1 fire and 1 nature spell to trigger the effect

it is bugged, you don't need two spells as the tooltip suggests. Flame Shock after Icefury grants Elemental Blast free cast, however Lava Burst after Icefury does not - you have to press Nature spell as well. This and Ascendance not casting Flame Shock at multpile target as it says on the tooltip are two bugs that I found.

To be fair, ele shammy should not be nerfed,I dont play shamam, not at all, maybe I'll give it a try, but man, we have a lot of classes that do the same amount of damage, every pull with cd's. Unholy DK, Breath Frost DK, Fury Warrior, Ret paladin, rogue assassin. I saw pretty much every spec that I listed doing more than 12M dps in NW for example. Ele shammy is blasting? OFC it is, but they that dmg when they have cd, and that is only with ascendence as elemental up, other than that they do pretty much average damage.
