saw my mom get out of bed at 5 in the morning to go to work and work real hard…just to not get paid enough, when i saw her tired half asleep beautiful face, my heart quite literally shattered, i shed a tear at the thought of her having to do that 5 times a week, knowing she doesn’t want to, and i thought, what can i do?? what can i do to help?? i’m 22 and the only reason i want to make it in life, is for my parents. they never complain, but i can see it in their eyes. We spend a lot of energy and time dreaming about the future, worrying about it, planning on it, making lists, as well as regreting or cherising the past, when in reality these past things have already happened and cannot be changed or repeated, and the future is being decided by God in real time depending on your present actions. For everyone watching this who is working hard to be successful… “Success” might or might not ever arrive. It depends on so many things beyond our control. Sometimes it doesn’t matter how hard you try. Otherwise, every “singer” (for example) in the world would be famous, don’t you think? The key is to do what you love, what you enjoy the most. If success arrives, then it’s awesome. If not, at least you will enjoy every day of your life doing what you love, even as a hobby. I don’t want to discourage you. I just want to share this in case it helps someone. The key is to enjoy the journey, not just reaching the goal.
@thatguywithamustache60435 күн бұрын
No, if you want to be a singer is one thing, if you want to make money singing it's another, and if you want you can get it. Period.
@RogueAgentSniff5 күн бұрын
What if success to me is no debt and just working a job just to keep me moving and every check be "play money"? Yeah i can work for myself but id have to keep up with my business, one "day off" is a loss, in a business owners eyes. I honestly dont want that stress. Just a lump of saved money, and no debt is my dream. Cause all my hobbies are cheap and more skill based than anything like car collecting. Nohing bad just too expensive for me lol
@thatguywithamustache60435 күн бұрын
@@RogueAgentSniff if that is truly all you want, if you could have anything, don't try to have more. But if given the choice to have everything you could have, and you chose to have more than that, you have no reason to not pursue it, I, for example, want to be an extraordinary woman being, I want to cook very well be able to play guitar professionally, write music anf inspire thousands of people, draw beautifully, speak 4, 5 languages, have money so my family can be well, have a good and healthy physique, of the top of my head those are the main ones. I want it all and if I'm given enough time I'll get it, if I don't change my mind of course, I've been pursuing these things for some years now, but only more recently the serioussness of the attempt became real, and I love it. I'm rambling, mb
@thatguywithamustache60435 күн бұрын
@@riesgoelectrico4186 yes i agree with that, but I think if you truly love something you can get better at it, if your voice isn t perfect you can train it, you can record it and tweak it, you can market it, etc etc. If you truly want something there's almost always a way. Now, if you re born without hands and want to play basketball or want to sing and you have no voice, thats a bit hard. Given you have an average life, you can do a fucking load of stuff you love and get paid or not depending on what you want
@riesgoelectrico41865 күн бұрын
@@thatguywithamustache6043 I get your point, but not every singer is talented enough to make money singing. Or simply, they’re not good enough to make a living from it, even if they love singing. That’s something beyond our control. That’s just what I meant: hard work alone won’t guarantee success. Just keep that in mind. It doesn’t mean you should stop working hard to reach your goals; it means that it’s better not to work hard solely to reach the goal, because it might not happen. We should work hard at things we like and that make us happy just because we enjoy doing them.

I just sold a property in Portland and I'm thinking to put the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying it’s ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same market raking in over $200k gains with months, I'm really just confused at this point.

Yes, a good number of folks are raking in huge 6 figure gains in this downtrend, but such strategies are mostly successfully executed by folks with in depth market knowledge.
@SlavoPetrovic9 күн бұрын
It all depends on how long you're willing to hold for, stocks might likely tank further, but making serious gains in this downtrend wouldn't be a problem if you're a pro. Reason I decided to work closely with an brokerage-adviser ever since the market got really tensed and the pressure became so much(I should be retiring in 17months) so I've had an brokerage-adviser guide me through the chaos, its been 9months and counting and I've made approx. 650K net from all of my holdings.

Honestly watching this honestly reinforced the thought I have always had in my life. And that is the power of just being patient. Sometimes things just take a while, sometimes you can get to something instantly. But being able to get to the end of the line takes a lot of time, being patient will allow that line to move much smoother. Once I realized this years ago, it made tackling challenges and learning new things much easier. I start something new of course I'll be not good at it. If I keep tackling it and working on it, eventually I'll have significantly improved from where I originally started.

Damn bro, that has got to be some of the best advice I have heard from anybody on KZbin. I truly needed to hear this stuff right now. I take everything for granted including my family and my obsession with starting an online business and then overthinking myself into inaction has caused me to be miserable. Taking advice from people online has lead me to be even harder on myself and I have been studying this stuff for 5 years. The only reason I am not where I want to be is because of this cycle and from the sounds of it just taking the time to appreciate where I am at, being grateful and trusting that I know the road I need to take instead of following everybody’s advice all over the place is what will get me there. Then I can also truly appreciate those small wins instead of saying it’s not enough. I truly appreciate this video man. My life has been falling apart these last few days and it is my fault but my success will be my fault too. Much love man, honestly.

Especially when there is a God who knows you and loves you. “We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. This video has an amazing message that sadly you might learn it only when you pass throught it. It's cool to grind to get to your goals, gives meaning to your life. But don't forget to live and enjoy even the moments of struggle, because after you "made it" you will look at those time with nostalgic eyes and until you wait to "make it" you will think you lost all that time for nothing, not helping you get through the hard challenges. I believe that you have to develop a certain crazy mindset to be able to do so maybe, but now I get EXCITED when I face challenges or lose money for some reasons, because I know I will be able to solve it and I will come back stronger than before because me (and probably you since you are watching this video) are not the type of guy that gives up and just goes back to 9-5 for the rest of his life, surrending

my country is at war. Dude starts video repeating 3 times "where you are rn is exactly your fault"... Appreciate your motivation, but please reconsider your delivery

@user-bo2pg9zk2v he's basically saying that you have to make decisions to change and succeed if want life to change for you. His delivery is kinda harsh and rage baiting but some of the most successful people said the same things
