Tom King's specialty is miniseries & King should write a Warren Worthington the 3rd ANGEL/ARCHANGEL long past-due miniseries. It should/could cover WWthe3rd's Past/Present/& a much needed to be avoided potential Future for Archangel. Turns out that being the most efficient & best Horseman "Death" for Apocalypse ever, will entice him to bring the band back together. "Angel/Archangel" WWthe3rd is the most underrated X-Man. He's a billionaire, playboy, philanthropist too, but no love in cinema or comics. 😢 Past: grew up in a wealthy family of good loving parents & had 1 or 2 sibling(s)? Warren even enjoyed prep schooling. He was smart, athletic, handsome, and got along with everyone & girls liked him too. It all started to change when puberty hit the summer before freshman year, or it could've been the accident tht Awakened his X-Gene. Warren had just started noticing changes, but it was like he grew & got ripped overnight & now could feel his shoulderblades were different. Warren trusted his Mom, so he asked her to examine. Turns out that she was a mutant & she never told anyone not even Warren's Dad. They kept it a secret & put Warren on a different path than athletics. Warren Worthington the 3rd took an apprenticeship in Norway for blacksmithing & engineering from two of the best in their field and Norway was known for "Filthy Mutie" tolerance. MuHaHaHa! Warren stayed low-key, but both his Teachers found out & were accepting, so his mother & brother(s)? & teachers are all that knew. Warren was wealthy enough to have his own place & truck while abroad. The master-architect/engineer was working on military funded new frontier weaponry & energy projects. Secretly, it was much more. The blacksmith was a stoic man of solitude that had lost his wife & daughter to tragedies. He was one of the best at the Forge (specifically weapons & armory) in all of Europe. Warren's wings 🪽 had fully sprouted (painfully) at 16 & he thought about suicide bcuz of the pain & the fear of being an outcast. He held off. He needed an entire new wardrobe and more. This full metamorphosis for Warren only had the blacksmith wanting to try & build his more fantastical armors & weapons tht are actually practical for a 6' strapping young lad with wings 🪽 The modernist engineering teacher saw potential uses for Warren & wanted to test his gumption. Training & trying on or with stuff for one teacher & test after test for the other. Warren takes on the name Angel as he does many rescue missions for hikers in the snowy mountains. The papers' headlines many times said tht The Angel of the Mountains saved another hiker stranded. Warren came back home to America for college & his mom was sick. He will always have 2 allies in different fields/almost worlds in Norse lands. Warren's freshmen yr of college at Princeton? a huge fire breaks out & he disguised himself the best he could & saved 33 people & 2 dogs & 1 cat tht day Janitor died. No one knew who it was besides his dying Mom & 2 teachers across the pond tht saw the headlines. Also, this puts Warren Worthington the 3rd on the map for Professor Xavier (we see in Giant Sized X-Men #1) we dont see tht Apocalypse sees & maybe tells Mr. Sinister to catalog WW the 3rd. We read tht Xavier used Cerebro to track down Warren & it was clear tht Charles mind-whammied Warren & gave him a new name "Angel" Charles Xavier did this to all the just recruited new members of the X-Men. King should overtly emphasize this, cuz in 2023 everyone should know by now that Charles Xavier Professor X is Marvel's greatest SuperVillain. I've known aince the 90's. PRESENT: hopefully it would be Archangel putting together a new team "The Faction" to be a contingency of offensively attacking humans when Krakoa falls & it falls soon. Archangel & Sabretooth & Juggernaut & Betsy Braddock (Psylocke but now Cap'n Britain) & Nathaniel Essex the original and Not a clone Mr. Sinister & Magik & etc FUTURE: Angel & Archangel & Warren Worthington the 3rd are 3 fully split and developed personalities tht fight for control and each have killed loved ones and became Monsters........

Yeah movie Apocalypse enhance mutants existing powers, but not give anyone powers. But the main 616 Apocalypse can enhance or alter others through his Celestial tech. The whole giving others powers was in the alternate reality of Age of X-Man and not something Apocalypse has been shown doing in the main 616. Apocalypse is an External and as such already immortal and its not a mystical power but his mutant powers. The Celestial enhancement furthered his existing powers and give him a few new ones. Apocalypse can give himself new powers at will, but he does not mimic others powers. Apocalypse is about survival of the fittest, and pushing mutants. But with him as ruler and to created a perfect host out of the mutants. The Celestial didn't come to Apocalypse cause he was immortal but rather that he found info that allowed him to begin to create a Celestial ship. Which began to create itself and that is when the Celestial came to him. He only merged with Celestial tech cause he was infect by the Techno Organic Virus, thanks to Cable, and than he gained his techpathy. The techno organic virus was not created by Apocalypse. Apocalypse only takes over a new host when his body is burnt out from his ever growing power, the movie version did it to gain new powers which the 616 version does not. He created a new body that wont burn out, but he still needs to find the perfect host that will contain he growing powers. As for the whole Coven thing, it was revealed in that same comic that Apocalypse was spinning bull and was called out by the other Externals. He has no mysterious connection to the realm of magic, but does know demonic magic. But he is no master and was said so by one that is in Selene. And that image there of the 5 with knifes, that was Candra who summoned them there to help her complete her spell. Apocalypse would use a form of that spell to imprison 4 of the oldest Externals to power his gate. He was not grooming Excalibur, but was using them and Rictor is a dope for still thinking Apocalypse cares. He played Excalibur and the Quiet Council to get his family back, and almost got everyone on Earth kill if it wasn't for Saturnyne. The powers and abilities of Apocalypse from other universe does not count towards the 616 version and can't be counted as the same.
