Hi jovita. Watched your recent skincare mistakes video. It was very informative. I wanted to share something very important. Thought It might be very helpful for audience. After moving to UK, I started getting dry itchy scally patches on my face, neck and other areas of skin. These areas have lost some of its pigment and look lighter than the rest of my skin. One doctor said it's eczema, the other said it's Pityriasis alba. It happens because of the extreme dry weather conditions of UK. ointments did not work on me. Recently I stopped using makeup wipes and switched to coconut and olive oil for removing makeup. My skin has recovered in just 1 month and the melanin is coming back slowly. I think the makeup wipes (that contain alcohol) were drying out my skin. I did not know about this alcohol thing for a really long time and no matter what moisturizer I used, it did nothing for my skin. May be those people are doing the same and hasn't figured out why the skin is not recovering. Please share this information to help people living in abroad who aren't used to dry climate.

@@sP-jb8vk good. Your skin will get better. Don't worry. Please use coconut oil on your entire face and body before shower. Avoid makeup as much as possible to get your skin back to normal and if you do decide to put on makeup for some important event, make sure to use only natural oils (coconut/olive/caster/argan etc ) to remove makeup instead of wipes. Loved the tips! I have completely stopped using any kind of wipes. I just remove makeup with Make-up eraser soaked in warm water and then wash with a face wash. I have stopped wearing makeup everyday coz it blocks my pores. In fact I have stopped using a ton of products on a daily basis. There was a time when I was really influenced by KZbin and Instagram and it damaged my skin, my pores were badly blocked, I was having a lot of break-outs. Then I visited a dermatologist and now my skin is much better. I also have started using a sunscreen everyday but I am guilty of not reapplying. I loved that you gave genuine tips and not just promoting products. Everyone's skin is different and just do what suits you.

As a student of cosmetology I agree. Funny how you and Shweta vijay mentioned how not to layer skincare products when the whole world of KZbin and Instagram does it . This is why I trust only you both because you both guide people the right way. It's not about views or what looks nice on video. It's appalling what's happening with a lot of instagramers . Even Shreya Jain masks everyday and maybe she can afford to her skin is flawless. But it's wrong.

This is the best most useful video a KZbinr could make! I mean who points out all the trend that we all follow the makeup guru's skincare routine blindly? Luckily, we got you! 😍😍 And, this video is so refreshing and satisfying as I dont wear much of makeup nor too many products on me. Moisturiser, toner for daily basis. Face scrub for weeky twice and face wash for after work as I reach home and follow the routine. Coconut oil for removing mascara and generally nothing I wear for base makeup so am good. The last skincare mistake you talked about is so true, our lives revolves around Instagram and KZbin nowadays we learn from them and sometime back everyone was just raving about layering up skincare products I'm glad that I didn't got swayed away by that trend and always let my skin decide what should I purchase and not 10 other products for the sake of everyone's doing or it is in trend. But these sheet masks can make you feel good before an event or after a hot day in the Sun. But it's definitely not nice to use it everyday, especially when they contain fragrance.

I always enjoyed watching your skincare videos Jovita, do more such skincare related videos. Your video just came at the time, where I had a bad experience from Jabong and ENN. BTW thought of sharing this info to all skincare lovers. Just today I received ENN face mask from Jabong and they sent the expired product. Another highlight is it came without the lid. And they have this safe option of not taking returns of skincare/ cosmetics; so there’s no way you can return the product. The worst ever thing they can do to their customers- CHEATING by selling expired/ useless products. I think it’s also ENN Closet’s responsibility to make sure right products are reaching their customers.

Great content! But I would not recommend spray sunscreens because that’s not going to really give enough coverage or SPF for the skin. SPF powders are probably a better option for reapplication

OhMyGod, I felt SO called out by points 4 and 6. I *recently* found out that you're supposed to wash off micellar water after cleansing with it because of the surfactants present in them. I wish someone told me and I'm glad you're here to spread the knowledge. And with regards to reapplying sunscreen, are we supposed to reapply it directly? No matter what sunscreen I use, it makes my face greasy and so reapplying sunscreen again on that greasy mess doesn't feel good. What should I do? So grateful for this video. Damn, everybody needs to see this ❤️❤️😍

You don't need to wash off micellar water like bioderma if you're using in the morning (i mean if there's no makeup on skin). Cleaning with bioderma and moving ahead with moisturizer is quite common for people with dry skin, sensitive skin, etc. It's pretty common in French and korean skincare routines. The video is lovely! Proud to say i don't commit any of these mistakes 🙈

Hi, i use CTM at night before bed and at morning before applying sunscreen everyday since six months. The ingredients/acids used in it is not mentioned on the bottle hence, after seeing this video i don’t understand i should use it daily or not as nothing is mentioned on the bottle. I use The face shop chia seed hydrating facial toner and The face shop chia seed moisture recharge serum. If you know about this brand and this particular product then please help me out by letting me know what acids do they contain or should i use it daily or alternate days. Would this make my skin thin? This would be a great help. My skin is dry. If i should not use this then what should i use on daily basis. Please suggest.

Yes girl... It will change your skin .... Okay double cleanser will really clean your skin.. And toner will gove glow on skin .. Under eye cream improves dark circle.. Serum goves glow and bright skin.... And sunblock is very important in order to protect your skinn

I don't think a 20year old girl need all these.. you just need to cleanse your face, and add a sunscreen before going out. A moisturiser is also not needed for all people I believe. Many KZbinrs tell that even if you have oily skin you have to use moisturiser.NOOOOOoooo...that's not correct.. you need to use a moisturiser if your skin need it. You are very young..don't spoil it by overloading all the chemicals..
