I'm half burmese and its a shame I know nothing about the country. I'm trying to learn the language which is very difficult since it is very different from English and my first language Filpino/Tagalog. This video made my day. It made me feel like I'm there myself. Myanmar is a laidback country with adventurous street life, very friendly people, amazing street food and just chaotic street life. Yangon is the city I was born and I lived in the upper and middle town of 27-26-25-24 street. You definitely need to visit Artha street, it has a very busy wild and chaotic wild street life. I grew up buying ingredients my mum ordered from there everyday.

That's great. I've lived here in Myanmar for almost 9 years and i think only done 3. Those are the touristy places. Go outside of yangon to a remote place Luke Kalaw or Taungyi or go to a beach. I recommend Shwe Hin Tha on Ngwe Saung Beach. There, you can stay in bamboo huts or a concrete bungalow and it is just so beautiful. I would not recommend eating street food because if food poisoning and if you do want to try it, just check to see if it's clean because it would mess up your whole trip to get food poisoning, and a delicious meal isn't worth that. Myanmar is definitely a place to travel to and super beautiful. I've fallen in love with it, but most of the things he showed were downtown. Go outside of yangon to placed like Dala or Hlegu, where usually no other tourists go.

There are local markets (which seem more authentic then some Downtown), a village hit by the 2004 Tsunami that has been all but forgotten about, a recycle store that is amazing, fishing villages with boat rides and a snake pagoda which was impressive. There is also many Evil chinese gangs from china that are kidnapping people and selling their body organs. Yes, you heard me correctly murdering them and selling their body organs. Chinese gangs use many methods to make you OWE them money, with fake jobs prospects, gamblings, and they kidnapp you and sell your body organs. Don't go to Burma and Cambodia, the Chinese gangs from china are hunting for people to kidnapp. I wish you all would watch Asian news from Hong kong, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia.
