Stop taking offence - seeing the lighter side of life , seeing the best in people , not take things personally . Seeing things the way they really are - taking the emotion out of it Listening without thinking what you want to say next To remember everything is temporary Absorb the good , joy in the world Things will change Make an effort to celebrate those special moments - doing creative things , making special days Be self sufficient about ur happiness Nutrition, exercise and sleep Carrying good energy Start saving Spend time in nature - go for a walk Do what you want to do in your life even if other people think you are crazy

Thank you once again for your indepth and keeping it real sharing. listening and taking notes while working.. Especially no. 2 Not meeting deadlines, targets etc makes me overwhelmed. Bless you Sarah for your thougthfulness. Sharing your knowledge and experiences says alot about your Character and not only wanting to help people physically but internally, so others can achieve results. xxx

Those are fantastic ideas, they all really resonate! I spend time every morning and evening meditating on stoic reading (from the Daily Stoic book by Ryan Holiday), and so many of the things you've mentioned are essentially what these ancient greek philosophers were writing about! Timeless wisdom, thanks for making it so accessible!

You refered to other jobs/careers that you "gave up" to pursue a career in medicine. What sort of jobs would those have been?

Hi! What age did you go and train to become a doctor? What did you do before that?

kzbin.info/www/bejne/oqDOno13m7Vqbposi=s0o3p2JRiYPuPY5- 👆 This (very old!) video gives a bit more detail about my story. I went to medical school age 23. Before that I did a biomedical science degree. I worked several jobs, including as a healthcare assistant, office jobs and I went travelling. I'm glad I started medicine after having some life experience!!

Thanks! If I could do it all again I would do medicine too. Good for you!
