Only people who haven't built a car complain about milking it or taking too long. With my first turbo ls build I got it running and driving in about 3 months and have spent almost another 10 months getting it reliable and fixing all the shortcuts I took the first time around. What you have done with it being flawless first time out is beyond impressive.

Thanks for making the guess, I had tried to google his name before but couldn't figure it out. You were so, so close on the spelling. Spanish doesn't use the grave accent, it uses the acute accent which faces the other direction. Josué. Its the Spanish/Portuguese/French version of the biblical name that's Joshua in English. The French and Portuguese pronunciation is very, very different than the Spanish version. You can find a clip on Wiktionary of somebody pronouncing it in French.

Dude im blown away, the fact that everything went so smooth first time drifting this beast of a car says alot about what great job you guys did building it. And man, when you dialed in some grip! That car is sooo much faster in drift than the miata. It litterally shoots off in the direction the rear wheels are pointing. the car is amazing! i've been watching since you first joined YT, and that you finally made it to this point is honestly not surprising. definitely the example of "built not bought"! i keep meaning to comment this on every one of these Corvette build videos, but BUILD SPARES of all the one-off parts! bash bars, headers, mounts, etc. you break an LS alternator at an event, someone will have a replacement. you take out an intercooler mount or header, you're going home early.

This has been the build "payoff" I have been waiting for. Not a cleetus build, or an LZ build, or Jimmy O build - this one. Why? Because this is what happens when someone who truly loves a sport builds a tool to compete to the best of their ability - it shows in your workmanship, planning, and the look on your face when you finally realized you "nailed it."
