Looking to replace some gears in the gear box. Does the head have to be removed to be able to open case and replace gears?

did you do this? My kid has F,N,R on his 125 ATV and i want to change it to R,N,1,2,3 to try to get both better low end torque and faster top speed, but i'm not sure if it'd be worth the effort to split the case.

Hi, How did you get the last smaller bearing out? The smaller bearing that you said you had to "pull on" to get it out.

When replacing a gearbox is it essential to remover the fly wheel or can you just go in from the other side?
