In my head, I call these "angel swirls" because of the wing-like look of some of the swirls. Cannot wait to try my hand at this. I did order a bunch of the pigments you use, and have plenty of high-octane alcohol. Just gotta wait for my house to warm up a little bit. This color combo is my favorite so far!

These turned out really pretty too. Keep going girl. I wanted to tell you something you might try deal with you bubbles and not have to worry about a torch melting your mold. I saw Kanella Ciraco do this in a resin video. She uses a high grade isopropyl alcohol (hers was 99%) and puts it a spray bottle. She then spritzes the top of her resin once she gets the mold filled. I thought you might like to experiment and see if it works for you. I hope I explained it well enough.

Just a suggestion. Saw someone put a taped off stripe on a coaster mold. She then painted mica powder directly onto the mold. She peeled off the tape. Defined the stripe really well. Then she poured on colores mica resin over all. When it dried it had the original mica paint on and a lovely stripe of color. How about trying it?

Julie, what an interesting process! You have the patience of Job. LOLOL. I do love the green. I think I’d like a bit of sparkle in the green. Question. Is your mold silicone? How do you not melt it when you use your torch?

Another beautiful outcome Julie. 😍 I tried last night and failed horribly! I took too long adding more alcohol to my colors. They started getting stringy, then my resin overheated in the molds. Epic fail! I was using a medium viscosity resin. I'll try it with something thinner. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Hi. I am not an acrylic pour or resin artist but love watching. My medium is clay. I love this look but find myself begging you (by talking to my screen) to hold back. Its ok not to empty your little cups. My impression is the hearts are overcrowded with your colors. Try less is more. My belief is if they are less crowded they can bloom more. If it were me, I would do 3 colors, especially if you also want the black. So 3 pretty colors plus black. All this said with no expertise.
