at this point 8gb is minimum, 16 is average. and 32 is for gaming... some games are using up words of 12gb of ram....

its kind of hard to call this overpriced when the specific components that actually get made for 13" gaming laptops are hella expensive. screens and whatnot. mainly cause razor are the only ones brave/stupid enough to do it. still the most powerful 13"laptop in the market tho.

You can right-click on the taskbar, open Task Manager, click "more details", then go to the performance tab to check your specs and resource usage :> That way you don't have to dig through Windows' settings menu for system info :>

Very good unboxing and initial review, Dad. Always impressive when a KZbin reviewer comes out of pocket for the product they are reviewing. It would be helpful to hear that at the beginning of each review. I am getting very tired and suspicious of sponsored videos. Great to see someone more concerned about productivity than playing games. Give me a great screen, great audio, excellent graphics, and at this price point, in 2020, that is the baseline for manufacturers. Still need 17'' plus, with older eyes and poorer hearing folks. I'm sure you've figured it out by this point, but the RAM on the stealth is soldered to the motherboard. Non-upgradable, only the storage can be swapped out :/

It's insane how few videos there are on the newest Razer laptops, and I'd love to see an apples to Apple comparison with each similarly priced model from both Razer's and Apple's lineup, as I strongly dislike everything about my MacBook Air and I'm happy to see that there's an almost Apple-like build quality Windows laptop manufacturer. At the very least, I'd like to see Apple's highest performing laptop and Razer's highest performing (probably the 15" option, or the bigger if the performance differs that greatly from 15" to 17") laptop go head to head, so long as they're near the same price. Not sure if I'm barking up the wrong tree or if I should go pester somebody else about it, but if you're up to that I'd love to see it happen.

that big one piece is what they call vapor champer, like a thich heatpipe with more surface area. the ram is soldered on the mobo and its cooled together with the cpu, graphics and chipset under that big thick one piece xd. its a tradeoff but its smaller to solder the ram into the mobo than to have phisycal sticks with conectors and an extra layer added of thickness being that the extra pcb where ram sticks solder their ram modules. thats pretty much the reason why razer went not much upgradability on the stealth line up

Unfortunately, the RAM on most 13-inch windows laptops is soldered in place and non-upgradeable, including the Razer Stealth 13. To save space, they don't position the RAM DIMMs in a user-accessible location

I’m between this one and the new Razer Book 13. What do you think TB4 outperform TB3 with an eGPU. I know the speed it’s the same 40gb but with more PCI lines so can help in the bandwidth between the external card and the CPU. What do you think about that. Nice video by the way

Woke up one morning, sat at my razer blade stealth 13 and boom the screen has completely dead. Never once dropped it. 🤷🏾‍♂️. I'm shipping it back to Razer for repair today and when I get it back I'm selling it and buying a zephyrus. Slightly disappointed in Razer as this is my second razer device I have to send in for in warranty repair. There won't be a third.

Nice review Gary. In reference to Apple products, I'm not there yet. I purchased an iPhone 12 mini in the voice recognition was absolutely horrendous. I have an Android phone. Google Pixel 3a images works and works in works. I've always been intrigued by the razor blade stealth.

@@animeshmeshram5997 I’ve been using Macs exclusively for the past 14 years for development and they’ve been great but limitation of 1 external monitor with the M1 was a deal breaker for me. I currently use a 2018 MacBook 15 but I’ve finally had it with the crap keyboard. I’ll miss having 32gb ram but won’t miss the huge bezels and terrible typing experience. I hope I don’t regret going back to Windows lol. People say they have gotten their act together in the last decade so we’ll see. I’m waiting for Best Buy to go it so I can get the warranty just in case something happens.

RAM is not upgradeable. Soldered onto the motherboard. I have the previous model, early 2020, and upgraded the M.2 SSD to a 2TB. Physically, super easy, but had to jump through a bunch of cloning and partitioning shenanigans!

16 gigs of ram is NOT on the low end of ram lol. 16 is perfectly average. 32 would be considered high. My desktop had 8Gb of ram and it can still run warzone, rocket league at the same time WHILE streaming.
