The stealth 13 with 16:10 ratio is the dream machine, especially with RTX Voice compatibility.

Love the comparisons and advice; lots of good, comparative points to consider here. Something you didn't talk about was the touchscreen. The $1600 Book 13 has a touchscreen, while the Stealth model you examined (the 1080p 120hz) model doesn't. As someone who really appreciates a good touchscreen, I feel this was a bit of an oversight.

As a hardware reliability engineer, i can tell that they had to apply these derating rules, in order to achieve life time expectancy and reliability targets, in other words, if they have allowed junction temperature peaks to reach higher figures, or last for longer, the hardware (pcb and components) will simply snap in a few weeks.

I loved my Gen 1 stealth until I spilled boiling water all over the keyboard during lockdown. Now I have an early 2020 full blade but TBH I'm just too old and I don't game enough to justify it. We'll see how steep the sales are this winter.

I picked up a dell xps 13 and was wondering is it really worth it and I can say that this laptop has done everything from me including video editing 4k files in 24p and 120p(mind you its not raw files as even on my rtx 3080 desktop takes a bit to decode the files and import them.) and photo editing works great too with some loading in the edits in, but besides a little loading I love this machine. the other option for me was going with an asus or a razer book. the model xps i got is 9310 with 11th gen intel. Anyways great videos seen most of the this years laptop reviews from your channel, keep bringing the quality. Cheers from PR

Matthew could you review the HP ZBook Create G7? It seems interesting as basically HP's take on the popular XPS 15 but instead with GTX 2070-2080 Super graphics and an OLED touchscreen option. I currently have an XPS 15 7590, but find it to be a bit too large and heavy for me. Both lose out to better laptops depending on what you want. If you want a portable laptop to game on the g14 is the laptop you should pick that you can still charge via usb c when you want it only for productivity and not gaming. As for a better ultra portable, take your pick. There are a ton of laptops for way cheaper with the faster ryzen cpu's. And with an ultra portable you can pay $5 a month for nvidias streaming service. Both of these are over priced for less performance you get elsewhere.
