Honestly, I definitely don't think you did personal research on these. I mean, you researched how these apps work and stuff but trust me, I have tried a lot of these apps and they are bad news. It's not even that I couldn't find friends, there were just so many weird/creepy people, people looking for hookups, or the app glitches out so much that it doesn't work (Meet Me, Hey!Vina, and Omegle I know fall under these categories). I appreciate the fact that you are trying to help other teenagers out but please try whatever you are about to share first. I'm not trying to be rude in the least, I just don't want your probably very young audience to try these apps and get discouraged or possibly get put in an uncomfortable situation. My ex and friends betrayed my trust and blocked me and talked behind my back and called me horrible names and just gave me absolute hell to the point i had to go to a physc ward for attempted suicide, i have ptsd from the extreme emotional trauma and im feeling absolutely miserable rn, high school doesnt start till august, (my school is strictly online, its been an online school before covid) and there i was told i would make new friends who would make me feel worth it but rn i have nobody, i cry pretty much everyday, and still wanna kms... im desperate at this point, i just wanna feel anything but this agonizing pain Edit: im feeling better, still havent made friends yet bc i just wasnt ready to socialize but i got a new puppy yesterday and shes shown more love to me than anyone ever has and im a little happier

I have one good friend but she has a boyfriend now and lives with him so we don’t hangout much anymore and my other old “friends” were just girls i would talk to in high school and socialize with, but they weren’t like loyal friends so after graduation we grew apart many moved away and some have kids now.
