12 Gauge to 22lr Adapter

This is the Short Lane 12 gauge to .22lr adapter from Gunadapters.com They have a wide variety of lengths, calibers, rifled and smoothbore adapters. My only experience is with the one in the video.

You cant go wrong with their rifled adapters! I love the 38spl adapter that we have, its my favorite of the ones we have tested.

I know this is an older video, but I really do appreciate this upload. I have one of these adapters from another company and my experience has been pretty similar. Very handy little tool at 25 yards and under in my opinion.

3 inch 22lr adapter out of a 26 inch barrel got 3 inch groupings at 50 feet, 9mm 3 inch adapter was grouped at 4 inches at 50 feet, and 45 long colt 3 inch adapter gave me 5 inch groupings at 50 feet. It never touched the long shotgun barrel upon firing. The accuracy was pinpoint just using my bead on my h&r single shot break barrel 12 gauge. No need for the longer adapters, the 3 inch are perfect for hunting. Accurate and great review from this footage. Thank you. Btw all adapters were rifled

These adapters are the best!! I have the 9mm and the .45acp ones! With the Hatfield 12 Gauge single shot from Walmart, and these adapters they are accurate! Way better than I imagined!

Good video. I like the idea of lining up the adapter toward the top. Keeping it the same way every time will also keep the point of aim about the same I would think.

That is my thinking as well. You might also be able to adjust point of impact a little by clocking the adapter in different positions.

These adapters are so cool and handy. I like them not only for survival but these days them anti gun fools running this country could pass a semi weapon bill and lets say they did come to your house and took all the semi auto guns you have and only left you with a 12 ga shotgun. All that 22 and 9mm 45 and so on ammo you been stocking up on wont be useless

Those adapters sure are fun. I got a 3 pack of those 3inch adapters for Christmas. 2 were rifled (9mm and .22lr) and a 12 to 410 adapter. I was impressed, granted i kept the shots at 10yards and treated it like shooting a small pistol. At that distance I kept CCI mini mags in a 2 inch group and Speer Gold Dot hollow points in the same size group. Plan on getting and 8 inch 38 special and 45 colt adapter and putting a red dot on my H&R to ring more accuracy out of tge adapters. Really fun to shoot, and worth the money.

Have same shotgun. Cut to a tad over 19 inches. Installed a vent rib and getting ready to order some turkey sights. Have the 8 inch 22, seems to hit more to point of aim with the hole at 6 o'clock. Plan to order more when funds are available(too many irons not enough fire). Greetings from Bowling Green, KY area.

I would not trust a flare gun to handle the chamber pressure of even .22.... Now a 12G Chamber handles much higher than .22 on the other hand.

You are correct. They offer longer adapters as well. The reason I chose the 3" is because it fits inside the compartment on the shotgun. That was I always have it with the shotgun. Check out their website they offer several different lengths and styles. There is a link in the video description.
