The Tsugi Ashi exercise is almost identical to Boxing's foot work. When you have effective combat systems, they end up being very similar.

I was 38, when I started with Judo, so I just got my 6th kyo. I'm not the competitive type of guy, but I love being Uke and feel quite safe being thrown around. So I assist my sensei, when he trains the youngest. Sometimes he lets me warm them up and after this program here, I will definitely put some more foot- and hip-work into my small timeslot, when I'm allowed. You really got me with this. ❤
