I love how you talked about style in point 8. Other KZbinrs talk about how you should wear only certain clothes that are only good fitting, you actually bringed up how important it is to have your own style. Since i leaned into my own style and stopped thinking about what clothes are considered "good" or "bad", i actually started getting many compliments about my outfits.

Number 2 its a game changer for me, really improve my eye area. And some feminine features are good because the type of guy girls like is a mix of masculine and feminine face. I have a good jawline and stubble bear so i have the right "contrast" with longer eyelashes. I dont recommend the point 2 if you are not a little bit masculine

Proven scientifically that women prefer a masculine body with a slightly feminine face. The theory is that a man with a strong masculine face and body will not hang around to look after her and the kids - LOL such a common trait it's baked into our instinct. So it's a trade off for a woman.

I'm dude who's literally defined as Masculine, I got beard, chest hairs scars rough hands etc. I really consider that having some semi-feminine features up being a dude like this balances your features and makes you attractive to a vast majority of people and women. Wear some jewels, longer hairs, glasses against your facial structure, skin care that makes your lips and face clean and toned. Makes a lot lot of difference.

also at the point at 12:36 about reverse confidence, when you make jokes that make it seem like you arent insecure about something, it makes people more likely and acceptable to make jokes about that; like being short,so just be careful if there's something that you really are insecure about.

Point 1: very good advice in harsh winter climate (like now). I remember growing up with chapped lips, chapstick, acne, etc. and even now don't know what I'm doing. Lip exfoliator is worth a try, I think. Point 2: I sat next to a woman yesterday in the conference room, and she really had long curled eyelashes, and, although a little extreme, looked good. I suppose I could try this. I never though of this. Point 5: some guys look like they pulled an all-nighter--they don't look smart, just desperate. If you look like you didn't get enough sleep, even if you did, use under-eye moisturizer; but, don't rub, just dab. Point 10: Do I have to look like an opium addict with slack jaw and not much to say....not sure about this, still working on this. Point 12. I hate extreme false humility. A bit of self-deprecating humor helps make you human, but most guys brag about how bad they are at things and that is worse.
@turtlefromthenorth
@turtlefromthenorth Жыл бұрын
Regarding point 1: There is a lot of products to exfoliate lips these days, diy recipes on the web, etc. but generally it is best to be diligent with the lip balm and chapstick, and only exfoliate in dire need like for a photo shot. The skin on the lips is very thin and delicate, and different from the rest of your face. There is the lip basting trick when we need something extra.

Agree with your last point.. I don’t get this self deprecating humor- like someone will comment I’m too ugly and it’ll have 5k likes, 2k comments of people agreeing but if someone writes something of the opposite they get bashed and downvoted.

There's a lot of videos where men talk about how to be attractive...most videos showcase very biased & toxic methods to appear more "masculine" or attractive, I like how you portray ethical ways to make yourself more attractive, a lot of guys are becoming more comfortable with themselves, just like in the past, the toxic "alpha" male persona most men aim for is fading away for good & I'm actually happy it's going away. Thank you for showing a video that isn't misogynistic nor sexist, not many people are like you and I applaud you for that, just for this video alone, u have my respect, Take care & goodbye :) From: Lukas

@@Praise-- been going to the gym for 3 years. I know. Leaness is key to facial and body aesthetics. If your are fat then yea get in the gym and lose weight. Dudes who are fat should know the first thing they should do is lose weight whether that means lifting or running miles each day. That ain’t a secret. But if you’re already lean and have normal proportions. Getting more muscular won’t do much for you if you’re trying to attract a vast majority of women. Toned or leaness with good frame is key. Don’t look like a muscle head. Look at male models. They are all mostly lean. Not huge.

The men's grooming industry; haircare& skincare, there's now almost as many different products available for and marketed to men as there always has been for women. Along with some amazing KZbinrs in the men's fashion/grooming/fitness/dating space. Top 3 imo: Alex Costa, Alpha M, & Teaching Men's Fashion (José). Also, some of the pointers that Brett is talking about in this video, like the tanning drops, eyelash curler, and concealer; ALL are excellent additions to implement in leveling up your attractiveness. But we dude no longer have to go wandering aimlessly in the Walgreens makeup department and getting overwhelmed by the millions of women's products to find something that a guy would feel comfortable buying and wearing. There's this company called Stryx that created a line of cosmetics created by men for men's skin. And yep! A Concealer Tool and a Face Bronzer are a couple of the products in their line! I don't represent them or anything, just a customer who's been really impressed with their products. I mean, women have been using makeup and all sorts of voodoo magic to make themselves look and feel their best! It's about time we start doing likewise!

I have kind of a round face so I always got my hair cut super short on the sides and longer on the top and sort of spiked it up to try to make my head look less round. I tried to grow my hair long once and it looked so ridiculous. My hair was super thick both in individual strands and amount of follicles. It was also very stiff for lack of a better word. I ended up looking like I had a mushroom on top of my head. I think long hair generally looks better on people with longer and thinner faces.

Jawline isn't just a stand alone thing, it affects the entire face - your jawline is just where your teeth are; a wider arch / palate = a wider jaw. If the upper jaw is more up and forward = shorter nose, and stronger chin. Also, it turns out there's a lot to suggest this ISN'T just genetics - our tongues being postured in the roof of our mouth consistently as we grow up, including a harder consistency in our diet results in better developed faces. Our jaw is not only wider, but it's held up and forward. This results in a shorter / more defined / wider midface with a more extended chin. This is how our faces are supposed to be - very square. Majority of people, especially in developed countries are on a spectrum of deformity because of softer diets and mouth breathing / worse postures that adults just allow because they think it's 'cute' or something idk.. If you're wondering wtf i'm talking about a good place to start is a video called 'Asking Dr Mike Mew tough questions' here on YT. Edit: Fuck, I just wrote all that, hit play and he starts talking about Mewing... But I don't think he actually understands it? Mewing is to make sure we grow right in the first place, mewing as an adult wont do much if anything at all. But still worth doing, it might prevent it from getting worse, and also you wont look like a gormless mong.

@who_is_dis
@who_is_dis Жыл бұрын
@@gordonramsdale That’s a good point - most of this is based on secondary evidence. The ethics and logistics of doing a controlled study on kids is a mine field. We know that teeth can be moved with applied pressure over time. We know that obstacles like thumb sucking can deform kids jaws. They did a study with chimps where they blocked one groups noses and had them mouth breathe. Those chimps grew with deformity that’s the same pattern as in humans. There’s a lot more to this, but this is off the top of my head.

I read once that ear wax is an excellent (and cheap) lip balm. Never tried it but I'm sure someone here will be braver than me.

@5:55 A modeling secret to the fastest way to 'remove' baggy eyes (from lack of sleep or whatever) is to dab a tiny amount of Preparation H under the eyes (saggy/baggy parts).. Ingredients in PrepH like phenylephrine cause the skin to tighten and baggy skin under the eyes to "vanish" for the day.. Just make sure to wipe it off from the face after 30 minutes of it being on (apply 30mins before doing a face Wash/Cleanse).. PrepH won't help with winkles though, use retinol for those..

Excessive chewing tenses your jaw muscles and could potentially be the reason for unwanted jaw clenching/grinding/bruxism later on. Have you done any medical research on this?

thanks for advice but cosmetic surgeons have found that patients who chew gum excessively develop wrinkles around their mouths. These wrinkles are caused by the repetitive motion of chewing, which causes the skin around the mouth to fold and eventually cause lines. :)

Great tips, I try to use a lot of moisturizer for my face, neck and hands (I suffer with dermatitis badly), exspoliate my skin before moisturizing and use a face wipe to use on my lips to keep them from being dry and remove dead skin, make sure my eyebrows are not too bushy, keep my hair cut and styled, shave a lot and just wear a lot of casual clothing like jackets, jeans, and runners (sneakers). Even though I do all that I still feel like I'm doing something wrong especially when it comes to my face it still becomes red and I don't know if its down to my skin care. Any tips on some good products for that?

I chew gum all the time to target my jawline. It usually is one piece at a time, but all day minus meal times. Just today I tried 5 pieces at once. I chew a spearmint flavor. Wow strong flavor.

Hairstyle video please. Also would chewing your gum work well with doing a jaw exercise from Chisell etc. on the same day or on days off when doing Chisell in the week? Or would it be too much overall and be too much on the same day or not give recovery on Chisell days off?

Random ass factr : That turn with your inside foot thing is also done during marchin drills during U.S. Marine training. I never thought of it but i use it everyday but in the much smoother way he does it in the video. The military one is rigid, No suprise there lmao. Would look weird if you did it that way while out and about normally.
