This reminds me of my first steampunk builds, made of end rods, spruce and levers. Now, with Deepslate, Netherite, Copper and Chains (and a few more things) it really improved, like the gardens with azalea and the caves with new stone and dripstone! Like your ideas, but sometimes it is only for Java Edition :(

The Grabbing Machine really caught attention to my eye when I was watching. I have a city world and I decided to put it in the corner of one of my roads and made a little scene to make it look like it was needed there. I then added an animation to it so it can pick up blocks. Really awesome builds!

Although the placement of the lightning rods for the pipes doesn't have to be fine-tuned, I recommend that you have at least as many lightning rods as levers. If you have more levers than lightning rods, it will look like a crazy machine rather than a pipe configuration!

There is a better way to make gauges. If you take a lighted item frame and put a lightening rod inside of it you can change the level and stuff. Hope this helped!
