Welcome to a short 12 minute daily stretch routine. These floor stretches with a view was recorded on a mini-vacation in lovely Vancouver. The view was beautiful so I thought I would share it with you in a stretching video. Grab a mat or sit on your carpet or rug and go through these stretches to improve your mobility and flexibility. For those who need to stretch from a chair, a chair routine will be uploaded next week. I haven't forgotten you!

I am so thankful to you for being part of my fitness and wellness journey ❤️ Your beautiful buttery voice with these buttery movements..I was near a trans state and then my terrier mix started barking at 7 minutes and yep....I am awake now 😳 Gorgeous stretch and oh and that view 🪟 😍 I have never been to Vancouver but what a gorgeous advertisement that was ❤️ Thank you so much for creating and have a fabulous rest of your day 🤗

Yes, Vancouver is absolutely beautiful in the summer. Gorgeous city to walk around since there is ocean all around as well. I loved my time there. I'm glad you enjoyed the view and the stretch. Lol, I had to laugh reading about your dog interfering in your peaceful moment. 😂

How beautiful. So peaceful and that beautiful view. The stretching videos are my favorites. Could this be done on a bed? I like your hair!

Hi Janet! Yes, they could be done on a bed...just watch your posture (keep your shoulders back and back fairly straight). Thanks for the compliment on my hair:) It was overdue!

I spent a lot of time looking out when my calves were screaming from walking so much...thoroughly enjoyed Vancouver.

Dear Jules. Thank you so much for this amazing, peaceful stretch in front of such a beautiful view. I live in Morro Bay, CA, so this view was truly magnificent and unique for me (The tall buildings). I loved the fall colors, too. A great way to start my day. Also, I love your haircut! Very attractive for you! Thank you again.

Hi Jules, this video has become a lifesaver to me . After sitting in the the hospital with my very sick friend for hours, I come home with my body stiff and achy, and this does an amazing job of stretching me out and relaxing me at the same time. It's a little painful when I start but well worth it when i finish, relaxed and pain free! Thanks again, Jules❤

Hi and welcome to my channel! Just to help you navigate the channel, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate) in both seated and standing workouts, and categorize them all into the playlists. Just look for 'playlists' on the main page and scroll down to where you see the standing or seated options. Sometimes I feel like it is two steps forward, three steps back for me due to my injuries, etc. Knowing how committed you are in encouraging and motivating us, I got back up again. This was my favorite! I've been doing stretches and exercises for a few months now, doing quite a few of yours. This one popped up on my KZbin feed and I've done it two days in a row now. I am a 53 year old grandma who has been caring for grandchildren for ten years now, and sitting...A LOT...getting moving is a new goal, but there is so much noise in so many videos, and I have enough noise with my 3 and 4 year old granddaughters. This was not only beautiful - those fall trees!!! - but everything was quiet and subdued. Precisely what I needed. Thank you! Becky

This is a fairly gentle stretching routine so it could be done at any time. Ideally, warm up a tiny bit first by moving around the house, walking, etc., but not necessary to have done a full workout.

Is stretching really helpful? What does stretching do?

It's SUPER helpful. It increases your flexibility which allows you to move more easily. It provides better mobility, decreases changes of injury, can allow a joint to move through a full range of motion, prepares your muscles for an activity (again, decreases chance of injury), provides stress relief (because it's calming/relaxing), prevents back pain and can decrease tension headaches. The list goes on and on! So many people have pain but if they stretched on a regular basis, in most cases, the pain would go away (depending of course on what caused the pain). Often injuries are due to lack of flexibility.
