Whoo! Just did my first round 💦 Definitely warmed me up and was a great way to get move again, after basically being sedentary for years. Thanks!

I have been benefiting from these workouts. That being said, I am disappointed that you chose to use the phrase "if you're feeling lazy you can just use this workout." This may be a "lazy little workout" for you, but for people who have physical problems, it is not. I have lower back and balance issues. I have vocal cord dysfunction, and I have a plethora of endocrine problems. My endurance has improved significantly over the past few years but this is still a challenging workout for me. Please think twice about tossing the term "lazy" around. For many people, this word has a significant negative impact.

You are absolutely right, Cara and to be honest, I don't remember writing that. This is an older video of mine and it's not something I would write now. Since I create 3 levels of workouts, I would have meant it for the people that usually do my intermediate level. Regardless, I apologize. I aim to encourage and motivate which I think you'll see by what I write in most of my workouts. I'm unable to edit words in videos that are already up, but if I wrote it in the description, I'll change it now. I appreciate your feedback.

Did this after the blood sugar workout. Had already walked 5 miles today so just wanted a gentle workout. My legs needed this after 5 days in the car. Now in the one place for a few days so good to get a workout in. Thanks Jules

Hey Jules, thanks so much for this series! I’m up to 7 lbs. for the heavy weights and just purchased 10 lbs weights for future use 🤞🏻 as I finish this series asking your opinion… should I go to your 5 day strength training next, or stay on week 5 of this series for a few more weeks. Other option is to go back and forth, right?
@ImprovedHealth6 сағат бұрын
I am so happy to read that you have purchased heavier weights to continue to see progress. It's really up to you in regards to moving onto the 5 day series or repeating week 5 for a while. You can definitely go back and forth since the exercises are different and your muscles will be challenged in different ways by using each one week after week.

A neat package of strength and balance challenges. I've done this routine before, but for some reason I failed to provide a comment. The only taxing move move was the forward lunge: bad knees, but I did the best I could. Everything else I did without holding on to a chair. Again, I feel very accomplished thanks to your very imaginative routines!...Anastasia

Loved this workout! I had a ball singing along with every track from the 50s and 60s! One of my favourites is Sugar Sugar which was released when I was 9 years old and still makes me so happy to sing at the top of my voice and dance along to it! Thank you as always you superstar! A x 🎈

Aw, thank you, Annette. I love that song as well. Since I did sing-a-longs with seniors when I started working, I got to learn so many of the oldies back then. Fun songs!

Enjoy your workouts, but wish you did more "marching" rather than so much side to side. Mainly because my tracker doesn't record all the side to side steps, so I never end up with as many as your videos indicate.

I love reading that you're doing this with your mom. Just to help you navigate the channel, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate) in both seated and standing workouts, and categorize them all into the playlists. Just look for 'playlists' on the main page and scroll down to where you see the seated options. I also started a second channel dedicated to chair workouts and will add the link for you here: youtube.com/@ImprovedHealthChairWorkouts I now upload all new seated workouts to the new channel.

Welcome to my channel and thank you for letting me know that you're new here. Just to help you navigate the channel, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate) and categorize them all into the playlists. If you enjoyed this one, you can find plenty more at this same level under the 'beginner level' playlists. I hope you enjoy more of the workouts when you try them out.

0:10 I have been doing the 25 days and started on a Wed so today I am on Day 13 and take the weekend off. That means I will go next week from Day 14-18 straight. Any issues with doing it that way?
@ImprovedHealth8 сағат бұрын
Hi! I did design it to be done specifically with days 1-5 the first week, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20 and 21-25 with two days off in between. For example on days 15 and 16, we work similar muscles so I designed for us to have two days off between those days so our muscles have time to recover. A few options, you can finish up with days 14 and 15 this weekend, take 1-2 days off after that, and then continue with the next 5 days and so on. You can still do cardio on the days off from strength training.
@tbs5412 сағат бұрын
@@ImprovedHealth Thank you so much for the reply! I will follow your suggestion and then take the two days off as your design intended! Thank you so much for your workouts and for your passion for helping all of us, especially seniors, get stronger and have better chances for healthy lives. I love your quotes at the end of your workouts too.
