What if your giving, giving and giving and you don’t expect nothing in return. The other person takes advantage of you. You can’t keep giving to a person when that person doesn’t want to give or put effort back like you. You are being used.
@verycherry44592 жыл бұрын
Then you are picking the wrong person or people. Change your mindset on who and what you will accept. Maybe they will change with your expectations. Make better boundaries and enforce them, always. You don't have to tell them that you have new boundaries or rules. Your actions will speak for themselves and your consistency will show that you mean it. That will become easy for you after a while. They will start respecting you. Being honest and setting boundaries that you keep doesn't mean everyone will like you but you will deep down have their respect. The reason some won't like these things about you is some people know they don't have those noble traits and never will. Don't compromise yourself and who you are and values and morals for anyone. It won't elevate them (it may temporarily their ego) and hurts you and they will lose respect and it will hurt your health. Not everyone will like you anyway (it's like that for everyone because no matter what we do we won't please everyone) so you might as well be happier and not drained while living your best authentic and honest life.🙂 The people who are meant to be in your life will stay exactly for however long they are meant to. The people who stay are meant to be there. If someone leaves they are making room for the ones who are coming for the better part of your life. Don't compromise yourself for others who may walk on you if you let them and they leave you feeling this way sad, frustrated, and depleted. Being honest, you can honestly say "no". People are expected to say no and they do it all the time. You can be a compassionate person and still say no. You don't have to even give a reason. Don't argue. You don't have to lie about why. You're allowed some "me" time or wind down time or time to wash your hair or do something to feel renewed or to just have some fun or do-nothing time. Everyone deserves to just be. They have their own life lessons to learn on their own. They do their own thing. Why shouldn't you? You can't fill someone else's bucket if you don't have anything left to fill your own. It's time for you now. Let the love you'd give someone else fill your own bucket.❤ They sound like they could be narcissists (or just clueless) and you are possibly an empath or highly sensitive person and either one (empath, highly sensitive) is a gift. You may wish to watch videos on that dynamic and see if it fits. Or trauma bonding or codependency. None may fit or one of them may. I'm just giving out ideas to start. I wish you the best because I know what it's like to run yourself into the ground not wanting to hurt or disappoint anyone, looking for validation or just enjoying the joy of helping others but finding it to be at my own detriment. It isn't until you find love and validation within yourself that you become strong and happy and have authentic friendships and relationships and relate with people in an open way feeling and coming from your place of growth and personal strength. Then you won't let this happen again. If you don't do something now you risk your health later on because stress over long periods of time is definitely not good and can turn into things. A therapist over live video sessions or in person can be really beneficail and shows strength too.

Ariana Rose in 44 years on this earth I've been through hell and back. Born into an abusive family I was sexually abused as far back as I can remember. My mother beat us. My father was neglectful. I learned a lot in 44 painful years, with a few good years sprinkled in. 7 good years straight when I was in my 20s. My point being I have a ton of experiences. How or why I ended up a decent person nobody knows. I've always been soft lol. Insecure people do not have the strength to be honest. It is a strength. Just most of has that amount of strength. There are some who do not. Telling the truth is to be vulnerable. The deeply insecure cannot do that. My most recent relationship that is in the process of ending has lasted the last six years and he is deeply insecure. I learned how consistent this can be in someone. In a Dishonest World, An Honest Person will always be at cross and angry with everyone and they don't see wrong in being that way coz they beleive untill you point out the mistakes they are not going to learn and one who is criticised will not be happy about it. 1st hint of Honest People: Short Temper and Angry with people in public places. They don't sugar coat and are open to be judged. Your way of judging honesty is how Extrovert behave. Soft on the outside but angry on the inside. Passive aggressiveness. Huh! The world has both Introverts and Extroverts. Neither of type is wrong or right.
@astonish_injurer55983 жыл бұрын
As an extrovert myself, I'm tough on the outside, soft on the inside. There are 8 types of extroverts: ESTJ, ESTP, ENTJ, ENFJ, ESFJ, ESFP, ENTP and ENFP. The functions of each type respectively: Te, Si, Ne, Fi. Se, Ti, Fe, Ni. Te, Ni, Se, Fi. Fe, Ni, Se, Ti. Fe, Si, Ne, Ti. Se, Fi, Te, Ni. Ne, Ti, Fe, Si. Ne, Fi, Te, Si. I mention that because the child function (the third function in one's psyche), is the core of who someone is. I'm an ESTP, so I'm really soft at my core.
@skandha42653 жыл бұрын
@@astonish_injurer5598 I meant soft on outside with regards to the way they deal with people or Personality. In other words kind and polite or passive aggressive or tolerant till a point. About Myers type personality everybody knows. One cannot be 100% Extrovert or Imtrovert. It depends and alters based on environment. But being Introvert or Extrovert is to an extent wired based on tolerance level. You can alter it by consciously crossing and increasing it. Mostly it's Feminine to be introvert. But if you are put in an environment where you have to meet new people everyday. They change to Extrovert as daily you cross your tolerance level.
@astonish_injurer55983 жыл бұрын
@@skandha4265 I did not say anything about being 100% introvert or extravert. I was just saying that not all extraverts are soft on the outside, tough on the inside, as was implied by your initial comment.

@@astonish_injurer5598 "As an Extrovert Myself". Were you 100% Extroverted when the test adjudged you as ESTP. Point I made was to point out, Extroverts are social and so have better inter personal skills. Which, by definition, is Personality and Not Character. So one not getting angry in front of 4 people, as said in the video is not the real Character but personality. I made Reference to that. Don't Judge a Book by its Cover is the Essential Truth.
@astonish_injurer55983 жыл бұрын
@@skandha4265 Once again, I never said anything about being 100% extravert or introvert. Me saying that I'm an extravert doesn't mean that I'm 100% extraverted. Furthermore, it was through videos here on youtube about type that I figured out my type, not from a test.

It's not a wise thing to help people out of the godness of your heart. I did that often and the result wasn't praise or kindness, but blame and critisisem. The reason is simple: People who need help are rarely satisfied, with what they get. It's not enough, it's not professional enough, they expected more and, most of all, more permanent help. People in need don't hold themselves accountable for their situation.They think, if there's help, the person helping them, either has to gain something, has a helper syndrom or is rich and therefore, morally obliged to do, whatever is necessary to help them out. Once them learn, that there's an end to what others can or want to do, it's time to shame them. Envy is a powerful feeling, that keeps people from improving their situation.
