I know it is not so important, but the word is ‘MEMENTO’ not momento: it is an imperative verb in Latin, which means : ‘REMEMBER’ I think it is a remnant form, only used in the imperative: for other tenses and modes, Latin makes recourse to other verbs maybe derivative from ‘memoria’, like ‘memorare’ to remember, to reminisce. ‘Momentum’ and your version in its case flexi on, means ‘moment’.

I used to think that stoicism was for pretentious individuals who had given up on expressing emotions and was just another way bottling up emotions. I was wrong. Stoicism is about becoming one with your emotions, accepting them, and not letting them control your actions. It's kind of poetic that we are more perceptive to change once we are more vulnerable. If you are reading this, then I hope your journey is less painful than mine, and that you become a better man than you used to be yesterday. Stay strong king.

Best break through I ever had is, is that love is self cultivated and shared when in excess. Love that us given in this manner is never in need of reciprocation and depends on noone. It is a pure complete love and doesn't secretly beg to be returned in order to a fill a void in ourselves. There is no void to fill. It is real love. It is cultivated, through humility, positive change, self trust, accomplishment, acceptance, compassion, positivity, once you fill your own love tank. Then u can share it

I suppose compassion and empathy have their place and time, but realize it will not just be taken advantage of but heartily abused by evil. I think we are at a point where good, strong men can no longer passively live in society. We must begin to stand back up for the evil among us has abused our virtue for too long.

I was once told by a teacher that I had the mind, and I embodied that of a Stoic and that I would live a long life because of it. I didn't fully understand what that meant until I was much older. This video and many like it put it into a much better perspective and teaches us to grow in a more harmonious life with ourselves. I'm so grateful for this video! I'm proud to live an authentic Stoic life. 🙏🦋✨️🫶

Our hearts always kind type a little will sad or heart pain feel pain etc .like my elder sister last year packed alot food on the ninth day of CNY son n I ate at Telok Blangah house downstairs..I feel so warm in me This kind of warm money can't buy!! I so cherish it but sad this year she unable to cook like last year is not a matter we can't eat her food but her finger can't work well I feel sad....we know how to consider for others if the hacker this kind I will be better...I rem that evening rained while eating .the food are warm cos she busy cooked Did the hacker ever has the warm feeling when I send him food?cook not.a simple task Need plan what to cook plan what to buy then go marketing come back need arrange food Then marketing must learn food fresh..then prepare cook then cook then wipe all not easy so I always very thankful to those cook for me He don't know me so is not grateful.

Reading the comments really helps me, not to pick up the rope when someone has taken something I did as disrespectful? Off putting, perhaps? I have an explanation, the other person is not interested in, "Failure to communicate can be a sign of trauma" Triggered much lastly? I have been with an entirely different set of concerns! See: I feel sometimes this person try's to make me responsible for his hyperactive POV of a perceived problem. Then he drops in to escalated, even though I'm not willing to take the hook. I have an entirely different set of concerns! See. I believe Stoicism gets me to the seeing of the pattern posthaste.

Sounds like your being helpful without relinquishing your vital force to comfort a neurotic person. They need that neurosis and it's not even real. The human condition is way more fucked up now than ever before. And there is money to be made on it. Let's work for each other and ourselves...and alll for free. I❤
