Yeah I was going through a breakup that, at current count has cost me 12 years of my life. I'm still broken hearted about it and she just passed away last year. And I hadn't seen her in actually ..?...about the same amount of time. Anyway yeah this has a lot of ties for me. Beautiful beautiful song. And they were local to a place not too far from me. Well a couple hours but on a road I had to travel all the time. So it was a little extra special. Keeping the whole southern vibes, it's nice to hear from local time, that's not trap rap

Songs have a way of finding you when you need them most. Around 2009 I went thru a break up and this pretty much summed up the wat she way. a full on liar. I guess you can say the whole relationship was based on nothing but lies on her part. changed me as a person, but I'm not here to dwell or to vent. just to say it's a great song, spoke to me and I still enjoy it 6 years later.

Can’t remember how I first heard this, but I was in high school and had been in an on again/off again “relationship” with this girl in my class for a couple years.
