I especially appreciated the tip about mixing cool with warm- something I wouldn't have thought to do but makes sense with the way you explained it. Thank you for this video ❤

Thank you for being here :) I also think complimentary colours on opposite sides of the wheel are often opposites in warm/cool - that might be another reason why they work.

BRB going to look for textures in my wardrobe! I recently added some linen and definitely noticed the style it added since linen hangs so differently from cotton.

Recently I've been looking at ways to be more intentional in my outfits rather than understated and non-descript, but tend to look as though I'm trying too hard and am playing dress up. I'll try your suggestions and see whether any work for me.

I've noticed people mixing warm with cool colours and now I get it. You accomplish your great look without wearing much that's patterned I notice. I think that probably simplifies things. I just love your style. It's modern and on the mark. Thanks...i will be watching.

Great tips! I am a dark winter but find wearing only deep cool tones flat and a bit dated. If you look at the way more nuanced designers use color, or amazing artists, you often find a base of cool or warm with a pop of the opposite to focus interest. I like using my dark winter colors as the primary pieces, alongside neutrals, and then wearing a warm accessory or a bright true red lip. For accessories it's bold god jewelry, a pair of warm tortoise earrings or sunglasses. This is why I love knowing what colors should dominate to be most complimentary but also not being afraid to bring in contrast with a "wrong color". The key is to do the wild card color in a small dose so it looks intentional.

This is the first time I have seen your channel and I subscribed 5 min into this video. 1. Easy suggestions that I have not heard anywhere else. 2. It involves using clothes you already have vs. “You need x color and y item to be stylish.” The cherry on top 3. Detailed info on the clothes in the video and links, because I do need that beige yellow skirt, or I will die. 😂 ❤❤❤❤

New follower, great tips, thanks! Hope you won’t mind constructive feedback, which is coming from a kind heart: I feel your filled bookcase and stunning wall art competes with your outfits. You have an excellent space and wall colour, perhaps decorating the bookcase or, pivot it away from the wall to only show the back, to create a ‘corner effect’ to change it up - all just my thoughts❣️

Love almost all… the black shoes with a beige skirt, (the one with the blue blouse) makes one look smaller… plus the big golden (?) square on the black shoes , also shortens.. there might be contrast… but… I’d rather not have contrast but look taller… if you didn’t like it, you wouldn’t use it.. but for short “me”… would you recommend it?

19:26 The charcoal coat is a great change from a standard trench coat. The white tshirt is a good choice when a warm higher neck like a skivvy or turtle neck isn't needed

An easy tip to elevate a look is wearing a coloured belt (aka not brown nor black) also never wear matching jewelry (if you have the matching earrings with the necklace never wear both together)
@rekwa3860Ай бұрын
I think with jewellery it's alright to wear matching things far away from each other, i.e. earrings that match a bracelet, or a necklace that matches a ring, but not ring-with-a-bracelet, that's too close.

While I understand your point, but the bad example is a bit exaggerated by clothing being wrinkled, which won’t look good on anyone.

Thanks for your valuable insights. I like what you have to say, your visual examples and your voice and face. I find that at the start of a sentence you speak quite fast and your voice goes up which is distracting and I sometimes miss what you are saying. Usually you slow down as the sentence goes on and I understand you better when you speak more slowly and evenly. I find your channel very useful and interesting. I hope you find success.
