I quite love the snake and scorpion situation in Thailand. I have become the resident snake catcher in my area(Songkhla). When I lived and taught English in Phuket I did some work for the EMS and they trained me to handle cobras. It's sad that so many Thai people are uneducated on snakes. They frankly kill everything they see😥 I can understand the lack of education and the fear that causes, but it still saddens me. Also, the Scorpions and most spiders in Thailand are harmless. If it's a big black Scorpion then you can rest assured that the sting won't be worse than a bee sting😊

that's pretty cool myself to be honest with you I'm definitely afraid of snakes but it did bother me to see them kill it for essentially no reason at all...... I did do some research and I found out that the big black scorpion you are 100% right apparently it's the one you would want to get stung by,,,if one wanted to get stung,,,,,which I don't Cheers mate 🍺

Ya one thing I like about canad🇨🇦 is our animal rights overall albeit everything has swung the opposite way here some animals have more rights than people now hhha and my neighbor sits over there liquor drunk and takes all the women's bailouts it's embarrassing but, back to scorpions (not the rock band) 😀 I'm glad you clarified the black ones aren't gonna kill you I was horrified to think that could be on my bedroom floor 😬😬 thanks to Doc Mark I now know I can blast it with my bum gun 🔫

Go to a nice club to watch a band or dance and when you go to the toilet standing in front of the urinal you will feel a guy come up behind you and start massaging your neck. You don’t hit him - you tip him. Bathroom attendants regularly do this is nicer clubs.

FYI. The food vendor is required by the FoodPanda to charge the same amount as their front-store prices. But foodpanda receives a 35% commission on the cost of the food. So you get less food or they increase front-store prices,😂

The video and sound quality seems a lot better in this video, I don't know if it's the sun, but the color of the video looks "warmer" than before, also there is no wind noise and background noise in the sound, that sometimes happened the the other videos you made with the go pro I think. Looks like the new gear is worth the money doc 🙂

Baahaahaa... snakes & scorpions... eeek! I was snorting on that one! Sound is good, 5x5. Should have gotten the DJI Action 2 (A2) cam. Loving mine. Just arrived in Pattaya after three days in BKK. Did my 14 hr jet lag adjustment in BKK. Used my A2 extensively there, and before coming over. Great little cam with a ton of versatility and exceptional imagery. 😊 Your 360 is doing a great job though!

That's sort of my experience with the Pocket 2, as well. It's now regulated to a backup role (its good in low light). But the A2, IMHO, is a little gem for vlogging! The thing keeps on ticking, battery duration is a good 80-90 min running the camera internal in conjunction with the non-screen battery pack. Finally tossed off the jet lag... enjoying each day here more and more! I was an international career guy and the career ended five years ago, and then the Big C, so I haven't traveled. Feels good to be back out in this big (but small) old world. 😊

Great video! I never seen any snakes in Phuket myself, but I do hear people see them for sure. However! very important question: How about nighttime in the Condos, do you have problems with spiders, cockroaches etc. ? The first week in Patong I had to sleep with the lights on, I seen some big cockroaches in the hallway. I have seen people post videos of big spiders in their houses, I hope I never have a meeting with the Huntsman spider, than one freaks me out for sure.

Hey bud one place I stayed had a serious cockroach problem they kepr coming up from the drains So I plugged the drain and they stopped Had a suoerr big spider once Freaked the s#It outta me I killed it with a big zapper and it sounded like a nuclear bomb went off And it sizzled..... I vouch for in driver ,… took a van from Phuket airport to my villa ( $30 ) found out about in driver and used it for a van from villa to airport ( $6 ) so inexpensive and very reliable , I also used it during my stay to go get a scooter , and also if I was gonna be going out drinking

Video Duration - consider the impact on ad revenue if under 10 minutes. I've heard creators say to maximize ad revenue you need to be at least 10 minutes. So if you're dropping to 8 adding a couple more minutes might be a better opiton.

India is a minefield for trying to buy alcohol Doc. Some states are alcohol free and others have weird rules. In Kochi I went into my usual bar once to be told NO BOOZE, why I asked. It was the last day of the month when laborers are paid. Supposedly it gives the wives a chance to get some of the money before the bar.

I like videos under 10 minutes. If they are longer, I put them on 1:25 speed which actually makes the person sound normal. Audio was great. Video quality was sharp, but the color was fairly saturated and the shadows were pretty heavy.

That's actually kind of funny cuz I think I talk too fast as it is I think I would sound like a chipmunk if anyone sped me up.... I'll be honest with you I actually like the saturation at least on my phone and on my laptop I think the colors look fantastic I do fully agree that it is saturated though but if you were there you would almost think that it was a perfect representation of how it actually looked.. I'm going to try and keep most of the videos in the 6 to 12 minute range I will once a week release a longer video but hopefully I can keep them in that range because I know it gets kind of hard to watch unless it's a really riveting episode.... Be honest I don't have that many riveting episodes

Same situation with the toilets in Greece and Turkey. Their pipes /sewerage system cannot cope with paper which causes blocked loos. I just got used to the bin even in 4/5 star hotels , but not been courageous enough to use the bum gun yet. Worst experience is having to squat over a hole in the ground in a wooden hut in more rural public facilities

Wow, the toilet paper thing threw me for a loop! I was in Thailand for 3 months in 2018 and I stayed in over 20 different hotels. Not only did I flush the TP but more often than not I needed housekeeping to replace the tiny roll almost every day 😂. They never said anything but being a face saving society, I guess you wouldn't expect them too. Don't get me wrong Mark,I'm not doubting you, it's just that in all my year's of listening to countless SE Asia vloggers, not one has ever mentioned this! Believe me, in the months before my next trip I will be raising this question too everyone that I follow. But I have a feeling that they'll be telling me that it's BS. Not at all actually my friend the sanitation is first world there's no problems at all with sanitation just that you're in a country with 66 million people that's a lot of toilet paper.... Lol an honestly septic systems were not designed for toilet paper.... we do have mosquitoes especially during the rainy season however they really don't bother me that much..... Thank goodness nobody sprays perfume on me..... I think you would really find Thailand completely different than Turkey my friend Hopefully someday you will come and find out for yourself until then please have a blessed day....

Do you mean the Shadows or the saturation? This is the lock and the color that I was going for because it is what I actually prefer at least on my phone and on my laptop it worked really well.. so if you wouldn't mind replying and just telling me was it the Shadows or the saturation that you did not like I will take a look at it and see how I can improve that on the next video. Really kind of a shame to hear about the bum thing. Though I'm guessing in a 4-5 star hotel with international guests that's not the case. It does remind me of some people at my last place of work who were not from this country , throwing their used paper in the trash and no one could figure out why they couldn't throw it in the toilet.
