My sister saved a Dove and nursed it back to health for nearly 2 months, then set it free. Now It reacts and calls when any of my family starts talking, and follows us around 5 years on. My sister passed away a year ago. But It still comes to her window. Animals can be so incredible.

48 years ago I rescued a bobcat from sub zero temperatures and lack of food. She decided to spend the winter with us and despite my offering her freedom every day, she stayed until spring. Then she came back in the fall and for several years she brought family with her. Then she stopped coming back but her family continued and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. This went on for over 25 years. The first time I heard screaming out my bedroom window (I had a room in the basement). I opened the basement door and she looked at me, felt the warn air and ran inside. I got her some food and put the plate of food on the floor and sat on my bed to eat my own and watch TV. When she was done she hopped on the bed and snuggled next to me and fell asleep. We were instant best friends for life. That's how it started. I was 12 at the time.

The photo of the Jaguar has been wrongly identified and the story is a little different. The Jaguar was actually rescued when he was just a baby. He was adopted by the army after hunters killed his mother. The soldiers who raised Jiquitaia still take him to swim every day. I know that because I’m Brazilian and the story is well known here.

I once saved two stray kittens who were abandoned by their mother, 7 1/2 years ago! Unluckily, they survived for only a few days due to their inability to survive without their mothers milk. I still have not forgotten them and rescue or help any animal in need, thinking only about them as coming back to me! I STILL MISS THEM A LOT!!!

And a true story...In july 2008 we adopted our beloved dog crazy Daisy from the local shelter. She was 7 month old at this time and a very crazy, funny and beautiful sweet big lovebug 😍😍😍 We spent almost 11 years with her and it was the best time in our life... She was a mix of great Münsterländer, a german hunting breed, and a St Bernard...Her 95 lbs were pure love and passion. She loved everybody and everything and had the sweetest soul ever... Sadly she passed away in August last year cause of cancer 😭😭😭 We were and are so heartbroken and she took our hearts with her... First we said no new dog but we couldn't stand that emptiness and lonelyness in the house anymore... So we found Marley and this was kind of creepy... We didn't saw a photo of him before and when we saw him we were shocked positivly...He is looking like a little brother of Daisy... They told us before that he is very shy and anxious and he was afraid of men... When we arrived he saw me and started running into my arms and he was so happy...Some minutes after cuddling with me the whole time he did the same with my husband... It was clear that we adopt him and when we went to the car with him he didn't look back... At home we showed him everything and he layed down after a while... Suddenly my husband and I had a strange feeling and Marley got up and wagged his tail like crazy... We had the feeling that Daisy is around us and she is happy to see that this sweet buddy Marley has a life with love and care he deserves and she knows he will be loved every single second... This happens every evening between 8 and 10 o' clock and it touches us in the same second... Daisy was my shadow, my soulmate, my big baby girl and she never left my side... I am atheist and I don't believe in things like that before but now I am more then sure that this special bond between Daisy and us will never end and when the day is coming and I am leaving this world I will be reunited with her and nothing can separate us anymore... Love you so much sweet giant baby girl and I miss you so hard... You were the greatest gift ever and all those people who don't know you are missing the sweetest soul ever...😍😍😍😘😘😘

I have a wonderful family and our bonds are very strong. I am a giant animal lover because animals are the best beings on our beautiful planet. They are our best friends they never lie they never cheat and their love is unconditional. I am happy to hear you are from Africa so my husband do. He is from Senegal and we are there every year. I know a lot of religions are spreaded over the country and also things like Vodoo for example. My husbands family is a completly muslim family but all are very kind and tolerant and it was never a problem that I am Atheist. So my husband and I made the decision to help the family - that's normal but also we spend money monthly to a home of children without pain parents and to the local shelter. I must say that I love animals more than human beings. Dogs never lie. Body language is everything to them - both their own and humans. My dogs saved my life, growing up abused by three people. They would do their best to put themselves between me and my abusers and risked their own safety. I've always had dogs, cats and other animals all my life, even when I was traveling internationally. I was living in a dairy farm when my mom found a baby deer who had been abandoned by her mom. We raised her (we called her Baby Legs because she was extremely long legged) with several dogs, cats, and cows. We released her but she stuck fairly close to our home. Would visit and play. She ended up getting a scar from getting caught up on fencing. We saw her again not long after with twins of her own 😍 recognizable by her legs and scar. We were very happy to see she had done so well.

Jake: Once I lived next to a wooded area in western New York not far from Buffalo. There was a variety of beautiful birds. In the winter, I'd feed them and some of them got to know me and became friendly. There was a raccoon that joined in the eating. I bought a large bag of peanuts in the shells and started feeding her. Soon she entered my garage with three babies. When I looked out my back window to garage and saw the bag all ripped open and all of them sitting on their rumps enjoying the peanuts, I could not be angry it was so cute. I named the mother raccoon Rosie, and she got to know her name and trusted me with her babies. About two months later, boys in the neighborhood were shooting at the birds as they were eating the food. I told them to please stop shooting at the birds. A few days later, they shot Rosie and dangled her at my kitchen window. I sold my place and moved to Florida, but I'll never forget the cruel injustice done to animals by humans.

The buck story is false. This picture is from the buck «flippen» in Aurland (Norway). It has been on national news several times and it is not a rescue story. The buck was tempted by the smell of newly backed bread and did through his love for home made bread develop a friendship with Metta Kvam. Local hunters love the story and have agreed not to shoot it in the annual hunt. Ho much of this clip is invented to get views and likes ????
