I think the best and most exciting part of customizing a cyber truck is that it is stainless steel with no paint. You can easily drill holes for mounting and/or weld straight to the body. We are going to see some very wild trucks soon. I can't wait.

I am looking forward to receiving my cyber truck which I ordered 3 yrs ago. However I'm really amazed that advertised as a work truck it has no ability to mount a snowplow. A lot of contractors who own f-150s and use their trucks to plow their vacation homes and their year-round homes . Most people who have f-150s and our contractors will not buy cyber trucks except those who work in the city and will use them exclusively for advertising and checking on jobs. What really blew me away was that there were no vent holes and fans or anything in the rear window so that if you buy a 3,000 or a $50,000 camper mount for the back you'll have to plug it in to 110 and run an electric heater instead of using camp mode . I will go straight to my local glass shop and see if they can core drill hole through that where I can mount fans . Also I don't see a factory trailer hitch in the accessories however I do see one in the parts list . I can only assume there will be wiring provided for this accessories needs . And lastly which I believe Tesla will have to change from complaints from owners is a non reachable shifter without taking your eyes off the road or your mirrors to find a button on a screen or reach your arm up to the ceiling, I don't think elan has ever driven a work truck a four-wheel drive vehicle or a plow vehicle otherwise he would know that this is totally unacceptable and I would say rather dangerous. I live in the Northeast and I don't know how many times I have had to grab the shifter and put it in reverse or drive to move out of the way of a uncontrolled vehicle sliding towards me or someone drunk or a car rolling back in a parking lot or such similar circumstances as I'm describing, fiddling and looking at a screen or trying to find a button up on the ceiling is just not going to cut it for the types of immediate reactions it takes to get out of the way of something. Sorry to go on because I think Tesla's are the best thing out there but these few design issues are really not good. Keep up the good work I enjoy your channel and content.

With the trade inn of a Tesla Model S or X that comes with that lifetime free super charging. Lifetime premium connectivity is a blessing I appreciate Musk for doing that. Now here is a wonderful question that no one have ask Tesla yet. Dual on-board charging. My 2015 Tesla Model S P85D is Tesla service Modified with dual on-board charging. Giving my car an 80amp charge at home. A mile per every 55 seconds is great to have given Tesla the advantage. Tesla cybertruck is still cheaper than this Tesla Model S when it came out brand new. Even if you add the extra battery pack for more range. My car price tag 144,000 in 2015.

No. You don't get the "we need 250 bucks from you" email until they are ready to accept your actual Cybetruck order, which means your vehicle will be ready for delivery in a matter of weeks, if not days, depending on the configuration ordered. So here's the process: 1. Your 100 bucks holds your place in line. 2. When your place in line comes up, they send you the "we need 250 bucks to build your truck" email. 3. They build your truck and notify you when it's ready for delivery, at which time you must pay the balance due.

The Corvette might be the only two seat convertible EV available when it comes out and I think it will be fantastic fun. There are no convertibles available in the US right now.

I saw another pod cast the other day where they stated the two MOST important items Consumers want in an electric vehicle are: 1) RANGE, ie how far the vehicle will go on a single charge and: 2) What is the CHARGING SPEED to get to an acceptable level in a (relatively) short amount of time. They said the Cybertruck Falls Short on both of these features. This needs to be verified to know if these items will specifically determine if customers will put off buying an EV until these capabilities have been improved.

My model 3 does this already. If you are not paying attention, nothing happens. It only takes action if you are in autopilot. It askes you very often if you are paying attention with extra beeps. If you look ahead it goes up to 2 minutes without asking. If just driving around normally, the interior camera take no action with one exception. I dosed off a tiny bit once and the car's screen turned red with a big message saying pay attention. Woke me up (and scared me!) right away. I want in autopilot. Tech could save lives in the future. It's not a person watching you. It's a software seeing if you are the "shape" of someone paying attention.

@@petecicero Not to us - we are in Central PA and when we inquired - we were told that there is no mobile service available in our area at this time - we fall in between the Mechanicsburg and Cranberry sites catchment area. When we bought our first Model X in 2018 - they did come to us. I was told that the closest they offer mobile service to our region is State College, PA - 45 miles away. And ICE vehicles in the $35,000 price range including our Subaru Forresters and Kias offer Homelink standard. Our Model Y's cost us $59k when we bought them - hardly economy. I am a fan of Tesla - and we are early adopters - but they have gotten a little skimpy in many ways.....

14:28 Well VW's problem is not that, they went full hog on EVs, dumped the wagon, which was their biggest seller when it was diesel, and put all the stock on them and Gas SUV's with autoshut off's at stoplights like the atlas cross track that are having massive problems with, hence the ID cross to drop its troublesome V6 engine, only europe gets a wagon, and they discontinued their full size passat that offered 70K worth of car at 30K, which they never marketed despite how good it is, instead replacing it with the smaller underpowered and less feature filled jetta, and they never brought over the passat wagon, which only germany gets along with the Polo GTI, which would sell like gangbusters here as a cheaper alternative to the golf that is more practical, smaller, larger and actually all around a better looking car not because their not EV, EV is a fad for idiots that wont work when it gets cold and doesnt exactly like salt water that much with that video of a guy using a rivian to float his boat, as he's going to have to get a pressure washer to get all that off or its going to badly corrode the thing from the inside out including battery terminals, like I hope his first stop after that was one hell of a car wash, as the salt coats on like crazy like if you've ever seen distilled salt water for drinking water, and the reminants of that on the side of the glass, he just coated his rivian from the bottom up with that residue, and even if that thing is aluminum aluminium corrodes just like steel given enough time. its why whenever something like a helicopter or aircraft gets dumped in the water by accident, the first thing they do on an Aircraft Carrier is literally hose the thing off from the inside out. also the VW EV"s are cheapening out on doing things proper by rigging everything through a phone that just like the car constantly needs to be charged up to work right, some galaxy thing, which is the only way to open and start the car instead of a proper fob like they need to stick to making golf based cars and turbo cars, and sedans for great value , not EV's and SUV's as those are for morons, especially when they dont even have proper parking brakes anymore, which is a really, REALLY bad idea with ev's given now you've got everything including the steering going off of the electrics hence why I see far more of those pre moron age cars around than I do anything General Motors Or Tesla is making heck its been over a year since that Humvee first released and I only JUST saw ONE the other day in an empty parking lot, and man that thing is ugly, and the tesla's theirs a few but actually the only EV of note I've seen was the Polestar and the guy seemed to like it, and their have been a few rivians but at 80 thousand bucks for that, no thanks, also the polestar the first one that seemed alright is made in china, yeah no, and also I recommend you talk to that guy who had that pug doing the german salute in Scottland about the onboard camera in the tesla keeping an eye on you about their privacy laws they got going on there guys name is of all things Dankula, good man, basically it sounds like you say anything rude and it gets reported, it gets put onto a silent record so you cant ever hold a job anymore now you want to put a make sure he's not sleeping cam in the passenger compartment of the car as standard which will have audio, righhhhhtttttttt, I think its time you people deplugged and went back to being normal and being defensive about these privacy invasion things you want as standard as hydrogen, natural gas and hybrids are the future, not EV's, as the last time I checked, Lithium mining was causing a whole boatload of problems in places such as chili where their literally running out of water to drink with how much mining water its using up vs say I dont know, Oliver the 1963 Opel Kadet with 60 horsepower from top gear giving you the same bang for buck and unlike an EV, you can leave alone for more than a week and it will still start up on the first go of the starter and not sink your powergrid from having so many plugged in at the same time, which will happen given the batteries on a tesla are always running to keep it cool, and require it to stay plugged in or it runs out of charge as Electric will make a good alternative to busses and Diesel when used in limited capacity for short run cars once they knock it off and go hybrid with them, as a regular car, truck or delivery however with everyone else its like having all the fat people in california stand in the same place on Tacoma Narrows Bridge and then getting surprised when it goes all wibbly wobbly, also atleast with a gas car, you cant hear the rattles over a good engine note which cant be said for anything tesla has ever made.

The interior camera is necessary for the drowsy driver feature, which is mandated by European Regulations starting in 2024. All cars will be required to have it, similar to requirements for a rear vision camera.
