I learned a lot from you. I always searched some tips and I found the solution from you. And also the lectures. My sister was asking me to paint a family tree. And I put some Japanese tree. And she said there must be a background. So I draw some drafting. Its a japanese garden. And trees from far in a distance I've got from you. Your techniques help me a lot. Now I am painting a tree that lookslike real. And I found you. I have only problem using paint when painting distance. Sometimes I paint all clear color but I found its must be faded. When you pour the water, my imagination was you pour me a water in me. Its a joke. I was smiling here. Thanks Michael.

Like always, when i watch one of your videos, im half way down the road to throw away my brushes and search another hobby. But you also made me want to be a better painter...its funny how this works. Very nice picture, it is harmonic but it is not boring. One could imagine to hike on the side of the river, or have a nice picknick in the shades of the great tree. Your pictures are story tellers, thats how i see them.

I want to use acrylics for whole of my paintings, just because acrylics paint is what mainly have in my collection of colours. Can’t afford both sadly. But, Im thinking to use retarder in the detailing and still use the blocking in method for the base as explained here. Because it really, really does help prepare your composition in your mind and it helps me develop my painting as I go. Acrylic dries very quickly without the retarder of course, but with retarder does give me about an hour for each section on the canvas. Loving this style, as I don’t need tons Of colours out on the canvas at one go. Just the colours used for the sections being worked. Doing it Way also I found lifts my layers out more and gives me or depth. WOW thank you for your help. I love this style.
