I went to Norway last june from Nijmegen (NL) with my Model 3 SR+. Drove through Denmark and Sweden and furthest point was Dombas (near Dovrefjell Nat.park). Total of 4710 km (avg 147 wh/km) Don’t know how many times I’ve charged (lots of small AC-charging stops during lunchtime). But charging was no problem at all, never had any queue which I was afraid of before.

Was looking into getting a EQE as a follow up car to my E-Tron GT. Sadly the prices are crazy...its like 30k€ more expensive in the trim i want to get then my e-Tron GT :D

R135 can go 300km. This time of year mx220 /250. Biggest problem = only 50kw ccs,soa charge takes 45 min up to 1 hour

On the Alpitronics, if you identify with your RFID again you'll get the full screen again.

I think evs aren't ready for prime time yet. Maybe 5 years when battery and charging tech catches up🎉
@KrisRifa Жыл бұрын
I think it depends on use case and what you are looking for. In Norway 90% of new cars sold are EV and in Sweden that number is now 40%! So for most people, EVs seem to good enough at this point in time.

EVs are ready, but most countries charging infrastructure is still lacking behind. The Nordic countries have the best coverage, especially for ccs teslas.

If you have a home where you can charge overnight and wake up with a full battery(full tank), they are absolutely ready for Primetime. Even on road trips here in the US, it’s more than doable as Tesla has opened up their charging network. Now if your talking about someone living in an apartment or living in the middle of the city like London of ew York, there is still work to be done. Lastly, it’s now 2024 and a few 2025 models are starting to be announced or already released. A lot of them have well over 300 range and some with well over 400 range. That’s the equivalent of most gas engine ranges!
