The people in Todd's life were constantly calling him a liar over and over again, I have found his character to be one of the more honest people in Llandview. Starr is a very smart little girl I suppose that is how the writers wrote her lines and Todd was the most honest with her Blair is the one always lying and keeping secrets throughout her and Todd's relationship after faking being pregnant when he became the Lord heir to get him to marry her then all of the other lies and secrets Blair told and kept after that and before and after Todd went to Ireland when he came back from being "dead." This lead up to what would happen if Todd stayed in character to what happened with Jack... Todd did not trust Blair that is the bottom line more than that she lied to Starr!! That ticked Todd off so he retaliated and would hurt Blair... They are still one of the best couples on daytime, go figure.

Todd lies too but not quite as much. His deceptions include: Starr's kidnapping, lies re the bombing that killed Guy A, lies to frame Blair for Asa's "murder, the DBL, the Mafia scam lies, lies re: Tomas and Victor, the baby switch lies. TnB are not a Hallmark couple; both are immoral. But, for me, they certainly are one of the best couples on daytime! Fascinating dynamics and their chemistry is so strong!

Love to hear Vicki chastise Todd for keeping Starr and Blair apart. I wish Blair had someone as grounded as Vicki to advise her! This was one of the scenes where Blair makes it clear how much she fears Todd taking Jack. She has good reasons. He kidnapped Starr early on as well as keeping Starr from her now. He's also betrayed her, jeopardizing her freedom simply out of jealousy. Sadly, Blair uses Starr against Todd just as much or more. They both use all kinds of excuses for the game playing but too often are really doing it just to hurt each other.

Why is Todd's ring finger always have a bandaid on it? Then later, especially in 2011, it looks like a ring is tattooed on it. If it is to remind him that he is married in real life, why would be need a reminder? Doesn't he know? Is he afraid he may be tempted to stray with a castmate? I love him anyway!!!

@friendsforever502 Blair has repeatedly stated FEARS HE'LL TAKE JACK! He's betrayed her, putting her very freedom at risk simply out of jealousy,and he's kept her from Starr recently. He kidnapped Starr earlier on. Why would she trust him? He fixed the results of his treachery but Blair got a crystal clear picture of how readily he would betray her! He even betrays soon for a 2nd time , when he plots to frame her for Asa' "murder"!
