This was a genuine treat on a Friday morning. There’s no better evidence of the long tail of Dr. B’s hobby impact than an interview like this. I learned a lot and I thoroughly enjoyed it, fellas!

What a marketing guy you are! You know your stuff. When my sons were young they looked for “The Beckett” to come out and were first to snag it.

That took me back to another time. Always looked forward to getting my Beckett.

Great episode! Brings back memories of when Beckett Monthly came out. There was a bookstore in Fargo, ND, that had probably 100,000 cards piled in boxes along a wall. When the monthly issue arrived, you would see the local collectors converge on the store to look for the cards that had the up arrow that month.

Thoroughly enjoyed the conversation. Really good questions and answers. Even though, most collectors use eBay, VCP or other apps to gauge prices, I still from time to time buy Beckett Monthly magazines from Barnes and Noble. Mainly for the articles though.
