Phoenix roof mysteriously damaged after loud noise shakes house

Or possibly a cousin of the "dust devil" a micro burst. A micro burst can push a jumbo jet to the ground,an they have been blamed for several airliners crashes. The are low air pressure areas trapped above high pressure areas that are forced to the earth through a narrow gap. Like putting your finger over a garden hose. The more narrow the gap the higher the pressure. I have seen green leaves blown off a tree and piled at the trunk of the tree. In Colorado a car dealership had window blown out of mini vans. Or it could have been aliens.

The reason that the motion activated camera didn't capture anything, is because motion activated camera only activate when there an physical object passed in front of the sensor. Wind OR, as in this case of the mysterious damaged roof, a "microburst" does not have the physical mass to set off the camera's sensor, however these microburts can hit a single area with pinpoint accuracy, destroy that small area as if it were a targeted strike by a weapon of some sort, before the wind dissipates into thin air. That's what your seeing here. A microburst would have the strength to move some heavy tiles and throw some tar paper around, exposing the roof's trusses, but not so much strength that it would tear the entire roof off the house. Obviously wind and wind damage is relative to the turbulence being created by whatever environmental factors that exist at that specific time. Some hurricanes can pull entire roofs apart, and level entire neighborhoods when they're at their most turbulent. Scaling that down some to something like you see here, a microburst can create some damage, to an extent. Scaling the turbulence down even further would look like no damage to the roof but windows shaking for a few seconds, some litter in the neighborhood being whipped around into a funnel like "dust devil", etc. The fact that she heard what seemed to be violent shaking, and yet no damage anywhere else to the house rules out an earthquake or some other naturally occurring event. This was a naturally occurring event based off of what little evidence there was pointing to a skydiver who's Parachute didn't open, they smacked her roof, and then fell off the roof into her bushes. That evidence is absent so we can rule that and every other scenario of something falling from the sky and hitting her roof. The fact that she heard and felt it, yet there's no evidence besides the roof damage, completely points to a wind related naturally occurring "microburst", which have been documented to be much more stronger and capable of causing structural damage than seen here. This is a 100% microburst!

Everyone thinking its from the outside. What she is describing with the noise, the shingle movement and the proximity to an exhaust vent pipe, it's likely something failed in the furnace of the HVAC system. If I remember right that area has gas lines and that also means many HVAC and water heaters use gas when it's available. Much cheaper than running a heat pump. If the pilot light gets blown out the igniter will try to ignite the pilot again. If something causes the pilot to not light you get that first large boom and several after until the system shuts it off.

I believe it since(as near as I can remember)the history channel or national geographic had a documentary about it several years ago. Just think how much the technology has advanced since then. If you've never seen it there's a video on you tube from several years ago that had a video clip of a tank rolling up near an i.e.d. explosion. Right after it stopped there was a barely visible distortion moving across the screen and then a person appeared an climbed into a tank. I think it was a real video of a personal invisibility cloak.

U you’d think the local meteorologist would have picked this story up with a little this is how it happened diagramming seeing in my head as you explained it because I’ve seen a microburst explained before and you’re right totally makes sense. Without evidence of anything moving the tiles, winds the next go to answer because I don’t see a robber bringing a ladder scaling a roof that high and not thinking a window would be a better entry point. Sonic satellite weapon or sonic drone weapon tested on random occupied home, by some government. Probably a level 1 test. Could also be a test of a sonic listening device malfunction by some govt, that used to much power. Other causes could have been a heat buildup which was near roof pipe a normal slightly weaker area than rest of roof. If that's a ventilation pipe it could be stopped up. If it's a fireplace flue and the vent inside house is closed I would open it a little and leave it open until the Phoenix temps come down. Since heat rises and cold sinks there should be only minimal cold loss if any. In fact it could lower your electric bill due to heat release. Another cause could have been a micrometeorite explosion close to roof. If some of these reasons seem crazy just think about the state of the planet with all kinds of unexplained environmental phenomena and advances in space and weapons technology.

Bad advice because of the height of roof and if they are clay tiles walking on them can break them and they can get slippery even without water on them. Try to rent or ask someone to use a drone to look at damage. I checked Phoenix drone rental prices, it's as cheap as 20 dollars up to several hundred. Can be cheaper than buying ladder and danger involved going on roof.
